Very good ramen - Edit
We ordered two different ramen sets. Both were excellent - the soup was tasty. We liked avocado with miso dressing, which came on the side.

Tasty ramen - Edit
Small first floor restaurant selling rice flour pizzas and two ramen dishes. We had the ramen. The portions were large, very tasty and service was excellent. A few more menu options would be great though!

Noch nie habe ich Pizza mit Sojasoße gegessen, aber es war super. Der Teig ist aus Reismehl. Auch die Nudeln waren klasse. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Cozy place for dinner - Edit
Nice decoration and calm environment. Service was a bit slow but food was definitely worth the wait. Went on a weekday evening and not crowded. Tried pasta and tantan noodles and both were very delicious.

So Yummy!! - Edit
My friend and I went just as the place opened at 5. The atmosphere was really chill and the soy milk ramen was AMAZING. The broth was delicious and flavorful and it warmed my soul eating it haha. My only complaint about the food is it had lots of stringy vegetables, which for me personally means I eat way slower. The prices were super reasonable and I’m very glad I stopped by after walking around Yokohama

The ramen was seriously good, and the restaurant was really nice. Just a shame that only a couple of the things on the menu were available when we arrived

I ordered a pizza, vegan nuggets and a beer, it came to shoot ¥2,500. The pizza was pretty small but very tasty, the nuggets were more filling, accompanied with vegan mayo.

great vegan ramen - Edit
Suya is the only true vegan ramen cafe that I could find in Yokohama, and it only opens during lunch time. It's a short walk from the train station. The cafe is on the second floor of the building. I arrived there at 1:45PM and there was nobody dining there. The interior is cute and American R&B music from the 90's were playing in the background. It's ironic that there was a pictures of Campbell's clam chowder soup on the wall. But that makes sense to me now after reading another commenter's note that this spot is shared with a meat-heavy restaurant at night, and hence only opens during lunch hours.
Read moreThe choice for ramen soup is only shio and miso, as well as a seasonal option of herbal soup. I chose the miso ramen with add-on cilantro and "butter". The soup was delicious; not too salty and the soy meat topping enhances the overall texture and taste. It also came with a side of sliced carrot and bell pepper with vegan ranch dressing for dipping. As well as a side of eggplant pickles and sliced avocado with some sort of radish-based dressing.
It's worth the short trek on train to this place if you're in Yokohama and looking for vegan ramen during lunch hours.

Contrasting! - Edit
I found quite a few contrasts while visiting here for the first time.
Read moreThe food is vegan but reasonably priced.
Fancy interior but almost completely empty.
Modern but only takes cash (make sure you bring enough!)
I had the miso ramen as that was recommended by a different reviewer on here. It was tasty but spicier than I expected. Be prepared if you don’t usually have spicy food.
I also ordered a side of lemon rice, which I didn’t like as much as I expected to. If you do order the lemon rice and find it a bit plain, try having it with the leftover ramen soup (this was recommended by the staff)
Definitely worth a visit, if you are in the area.
Pros: Tasty, Reasonable price for vegan food , Free Moringa tea
Cons: Only accepts cash.

Healthy ramen - Edit
Read moreSua is an all-vegan, all-gluten free ramen shop that just opened in the Kannai area of Yokohama on June 1st.
They take up residence inside Bistro Zip, a meat-heavy bar that operates at night. That’s why they’re only open for lunch, and why the decor doesn’t quite match the food.
As of now there are three items to choose from: shio ramen, miso ramen, and lemon rice. Both ramens came with really nice vegetable side dishes, as well as a delicious smoked cheese. We both much preferred the miso to the shio, which we felt didn’t have a lot of flavor. Neither of us are huge fans of rice noodles in ramen either, but overall, we were happy with the food. The lemon rice was delicious, and the self-service morninga tea was quite nice too.
One negative was that sometimes we could smell people smoking. Sua is smoke-free, but sometimes in older buildings like this one, smoke from other floors can come up through the vents.
Still, it’s nice to have more vegan ramen in Yokohama! Please give them a try for yourself.
