Wonderful vegan dinner

I definitely recommend visiting here if you’re in Reykjavik. The three course vegan meal was magnificent, especially the passion fruit pavlova dessert. Make sure to make reservations a few weeks in advance as this place is very popular with locals.

Pros: Food, Vibes, Service

Cons: Need to book far in advance

Very tasty and satisfying

Let’s get one thing out-of-the-way, yes, it is expensive, but it is Iceland, what do you expect? You probably need reservations unless you get there very early, which I did. The service was friendly, but I arrived just before the dinner rush and the waiters were scrambling to keep everyone happy.

The restaurant itself is very pleasing and conveniently located in the downtown area. There were two mains that were vegan and I went for the sweet potato dish, which was absolutely delicious and very satisfying. I did not have room for anything else, but there was also a vegan Pavlova. The menu was small, so I guess about 30% of the mains were vegan 😹. Reykjavik needs an all vegan fancy restaurant!!

Pros: Flavor, Presentation

Cons: Expensive

It was fine

I had a lot of high hopes for this restaurant given that they offer a 3 course vegan meal. The soup was a purée which is fine, just not what I was expecting, and they ran out of the only vegan dessert- the lemon tart before we got the chance to order it. The waitresses and hostess were very kind, the food wasn’t outstanding. My husband got the lamb ribeye and he rated the dish a 6/10 but the lamb was 4/10. He says it didn’t have any flavor.

Pros: Vegan 3 Course Meal , Beautiful lighting , Kind staff

Cons: Not a lot of flavor
