Excellent food - Edit
We both tried the ‘Farm to Seasonal Veggie Meal’. Whilst not all dishes were Japanese food, all the flavours were delicious. Quality was exceptional, and good value for money. Expensive compared to other vegan eateries we have visited so far.

Very good - Edit
For our first meal in Tokyo, Revive had few but decent options. Their portion sizes were generous and could be shared between two people. However, we wish they gave us more accompaniments to the noodle broth. Even when we asked, the answer was a stern no.

Luxury - Edit
The food was delicate. It will be better if it provides some samples of the cosmetics so people can connect the brand with health and environment-friendly.

Not much oriental veg (alliums free) option - Edit
Went during the teabreak time, so there were only 3 options for mains, and all 3 contained alliums that cannot be removed. We ended up with a chocolate pound cake and moved on.

Delicious food, but not all vegan - Edit
I tried the farm to plate meal (with 11 different dishes) after asking if it was all vegan. The waitress said yes, but one of the dishes that came out was clearly an egg quiche. My 11th course (mini rice noodle soup) never came out either but maybe that’s because I said I was finished when she pointed to the quiche I hadn’t eaten? The rest of the food was delicious though and there was a great drinks list. The meal I had is expensive, it was a treat really after a long travel day, but beware of communication challenges #Veganuary

Healthy Vegan Japanese Meal - Edit
The restaurant is in the second floor of a mall. The atmosphere is nice and peaceful, and the place was great. We ordered the Farm to Seasonal Veggie Meal, which though was a bit pricey, the variety of food was great and presentation was excellent. The taste was also very uniquely Japanese in preparation and flavor.

We had the spring ozen platter course, it was amazing although I would suggest to order only the normal platter ( the main dish was not so good as the rest!)

I like how calm it feels here. I had the 2,800 yen veg course (make sure all the plates are vegan as one dish used egg. They replaced with mushrooms).

Pasta smells good but it was tasteless (they gave forgotten to add a sauce).

Refreshing change from rice and noodles - Edit
I came here because I wanted to get something different than rice and noodles. The set menus looked great, but in addition to being vegetarian, I also don't eat things made with alcohol. As it turns out, almost all dishes here contain cooking wine. Staff spoke good English and went out of their way to advise on dishes that were or could be made alcohol free. I ended up with two salads, mashed potatoes with Brussels sprouts and egg, and warabimochi. I got the refreshing break from rice and noodles that I had been hoping for and tasted some flavor combinations I would not have come up with myself. The egg was nearly raw and a hilarious challenge to eat with chopsticks (I gave up and used the spoon at some point). The dishes I tried were all very well made and quite interesting. They did not blow me away, but I am giving five stars nevertheless, accounting for the very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Aaaaaamazing! - Edit
Get the platter. It's so worth it not expensive at all for the experience that is fine dining esque. If I had space would have gotten the parfait looks really good. So glad I stumbled on this place. Just tell em you're vegan and they change the egg dish to an eggplant one. I didn't ask about gluten free but I imagine it's just the spring rolls and maybe on the cabbage soup the crackers.

All vegetarian with good vegan options. I just popped in for a few items from the à la carte menu but the set menu options look to be good value. Sesame tofu and miso garlic mushrooms in particular are very tasty and rice milk soft serve is amazing!

Lovely and modern - Edit
Filled with light and a clean modern concept, this restaurant offered us ( family of 4 ) a great dining experience. The shojin style food was so well prepared and artfully presented. We chose the seasonal ozen platter. Every little bite led to a new surprising yummy taste and to eat it slowly was a natural flow of the whole amazing experience. The restaurant staff was super polite and so very pleasant.

All about health food - Edit
Hibiya Midtown is one of the latest shopping arcades to open in Tokyo's high class Hibiya / Ginza district. It's a beautiful building with shops from classy brands. Lexus has a showroom on the ground floor. Movie theatres can be found on the top floor. In between are a lot of fashion shops, life style shops and restaurants. All aimed at the highest segment of the market.
Read moreOne of these classy restaurants is called "Revive Kitchen Three". It doesn't advertise itself as vegetarian. Instead it simply doesn't serve meat because meat isn't healthy. No one is trying to save the world or the animals here, it's about personal health only. The menu offers everything from "rice milk ice cream" (wonderful!) to large multi course menus. We tried everything, including the biggest set of them all. It starts with a large plate with many small bites. These are so special, that the restaurant actually provides a schematic sheet to show what is what (see picture). The main course is served on a large leaf, just to make things more interesting.
With a meal with so much variation, the taste also varied. Some items I really didn't care for, some I could have eaten a plate full of! While several health oriented restaurants tend to serve small portions, "Revive Kitchen Three" serves big plates and you'll be very satisfied after eating.
This is a great place to spend time with friends, enjoy the atmosphere and slowly eat all the wonderful dishes the kitchen serves you. Like everything in this area of Tokyo prices are high, but the high quality of the food is certainly worth it.
Pros: high quality food in an exclusive place, big portions
Cons: expensive (but worth it)
