Oasis in city

Tucked away down a side street, its a spiral walk down a bit of an decline but there is a railing to hold onto. But beautiful.
Loved the calmness of this place and they pointed to the vegan options on menu without me asking!
Although it states vegan on cover of menu I dont think this is an attempt to deceive they are just really trying!
Flavours were something I had never experienced before!
Food and drink came to 2500 yen/£12 skip the drink for 1800 yen meal.

A hidden gem

The owner is really kind.
I got there by 4 p.m. As far as I understood him, the rice was already sold out by then and he therefore planned to close sooner. I was the only customer there at that time. But he still made the vegan menu for me. I appreciate the kindness!
The vegan plate was delicious! I loved everything about it, especially the tofu was amazing!
The restaurant itself is a bit hidden which makes it even more special... 🤗

Hidden gem, literally!

This place is very hard to find, but once you turn off the main street, keep going down a slope. You’ll see a metallic support bridge-like walkway—keep going all the way to the bottom. When you reach the bottom of the slope, turn right, and it’s at the end.

The name is entirely in kanji, and all of the signs are only in Japanese, so be careful. Here is the name:

古民家ダイニング和香 (Kominka Dining Waka)

They only offer one vegetarian plate, but they understand what vegetarian means, so it doesn’t contain fish or meat. The menu changes from time to time. I had yudofu with salad, vegetables, and miso soup, and it was delicious.

You can also sit outside if the weather is nice.

See one of my photos to check the menu in English. But everything in the store is in Japanese.

Cute spot hidden in Narita

Loved this little spot! It is hidden between a road, parking, lot and a hill. The evening we went, we were the only people there and there was 1 worker (possibly the owner) who served and cooked for us. He was super kind and appreciative of us being there, and we sat in traditional format (on the ground with low tables). Lots of vegan options - we had a vegan combo platter and the soba noodles, and an order of deep fried tofu. The tofu was some of the best we’ve ever had. Definitely recommend checking out!

Pros: Local vegetarian restaurant, Super friendly owner/staff, Love the environment

Great hidden gem

This place is so cute, tucked away down a hill. The vegetarian plate can also be made vegan! Can't wait to come back!
