Retro

We had a nice buckwheat-oatmeal with nut milk and raspberry topping as well as nice code with soy milk. The place is located on a busy street in the city centre and is usually packed. We had to wait over 20 minutes for our order.

We popped into Retro for some tea and vegan cake and weren't disappointed. The menu has vegan options marked, including some breakfast dishes. The eco apple pie without cream/ice cream is vegan, and it's really good, full of cinnamon. There's also non-dairy milk available for hot drinks (soy and almond). The staff are really friendly, and there's an English menu.

It's a really nice place with a good atmosphere. It looks quite old-fashioned, with mismatched furniture. There are some games to play too.

there was no vegan breakfast so we had to ask if they could make one for us and they did - we get two sandwiches with avocado and other veggies. it was good, but still just sandwiches. we also ordered a coffee in a drip and it was ok - i heard a lot of good reviews about it and it was disappointment. stuff was nice but not so much. it was ok. also the feel in this place was.. casual.
