No vegan options available

We had the veggie risotto, and it was okay but undercooked. I'm not sure whether it was vegan.

Not what we hoped for

We went here because of the other good reviews and the accompanying information that the truffle pasta could be veganized.
Unfortunately, that was no longer possible because the Truffles will come readymade in the sauce.

The selection was thus limited to pizza without cheese and pasta with vegetables – each costing over €13. We opted for the pizza and have to say, as long-time vegans, we've had better pizzas without cheese. The pizza was unseasoned, the crust thick and dry, the olives had pits, and cutting the base was a workout.

However, the waiter was nice. I would still not recommend the restaurant to vegans. There must be better places.

Willing to think along and be creative

We had a wonderful lunch here yesterday. They agreed to veganize the truffle pasta an what a joy it was (no butter and sour cream, but olive oil and garlic). We had one portion of this pasta, grilled vegetables, chard with potatoes (not on the menu, but nevertheless prepared fresh ❤️) and fried potatoes. Mmmmm.....

Pros: Creative, Several plant based side dishes , Don't rigidly stick to the menu

Good enough when there's not much else

As of the time of writing, there aren't many vegan options in the old town. This restaurant offered a penne with vegetables dish that was a bit more interesting than the standard spaghetti with tomato sauce from most others.
The staff wasn't sure if the Barilla dry pasta they were using was egg-free, but we told them it was.
The dish was ok, good enough to get by for one meal.
