Good vegan restaurant - Edit
Very nice place with good music, we’ve stayed inside. We’ve chosen vegan teryaki and falafel and were both very nice. The waiter was kind and fun. I totally recommend it.

Get the concept they are going for but the food is highly “underwhelming” have had better elsewhere at non-vegan conscious establishments. Had the recommended vegan burger, which was rather bland, it was not nice I could not finish it. Plus the service was really slow go 2 hours ahead of when your planning to eat.

Came here for the burger, as I read so much about it in other reviews, but also as other has warned they were out. So the only vegan options were Buddha bowl and teriyaki.
Read moreChoosing the teriyaki I’m happy they were out of burgers. Fresh and tasty vegetables and a delicious salty sauce really hit the spot. The restaurant is located right outside old town next to the moat so it’s not so crowded. Service was also good.

With a breakfast option and about 4 lunch/dinner options, Bar Tarra is by far the most vegan-friendly in Taraca. My sister and I ended up eating here almost every day of our trip.

I was a bit let down by the mushroom gyros.. the bread was tortilla not flatbread/pita bread, they used dairy sour cream and they had ran out of the vegan tzatziki as an alternative sauce and there wasn't potato in the wrap. It was essentially a mushroom salad wrap.. so yeh, that got my hopes up.
Everyday we went they were out of stock of something which limited the choice.

The staff kindly found tables for a group of us. We all enjoyed our meals. The vegan burger is a homemade patty, made from wholesome ingredients, not just a preformed slab. The sesame-seed bun was good, and the accompanying potato wedges were great. Two friends really enjoyed their Buddha Bowls and fresh juices. I had a nice, local IPA.

I had the falaffel, and while it was quite good, the portion size was rather small and some of the ingredients on the menu missing... My friend who is not a vegan hat the salad with goat's cheese and that was really a joke - the size of a side salad with tiny amounts of the more expensive ingredients... The setting is also not as idyllic as other reviews imply. I guess that Taraca gets so good reviews, because Kotor is such a bad place for vegans and you don't get value for your money anywhere... Taraca at least has several vegan options, and - though definitely not great - is probably still the best place for vegans in town...

Beautiful restaurant with clearly labeled vegan options on the menu. I had the vegan burger and it was better than expected. The patty was really tasty and the sauces were amazing! It was a quite juicy burger overall. Thankfully, they provided gloves for eating it, but it got messy anyway. The fries on the side were very good, too. Great value for money, definitely recommended!

Read moreHowever, the food was very average. The gyros and the burger were sloppy. For me, just because they have vegan options (a few, the rest are veggie) doesn't mean it deserves my praise; the food has to impress me too. Perhaps I chose the wrong dishes, but I won't be going back!

We were getting tired of not finding something decent around town. Resto bar was sent from above. They have a separate part in their menu dedicated to vegan and vegetarian dishes. All options are clearly marked and the staff were knowledgeable and respectful. The prices were normal for the area and definitely value for money.

Very good location (just outside of the Kotor walls on the river), new and pleasant interiors, nicely decorated. The service is very friendly and they have very funny spoons for the dessert. The Teriyaki tofu was nice although not so special, but the brownie was amazing.

It’s always good find somewhere with tasty and nutritious vegan options when travelling and this place did the job. They have a Clearly marked vegan menu and friendly staff as well as some cool Yugoslavian kitch decor.

We sat at a table by the river, it was peaceful! The menu had plenty of options and our party of three all chose different vegan meals and enjoyed them a lot. Especially loved the detox juice I ordered , it was freshly made and really zingy!

Travelling the Balkans is hard for a GF VG but this restaurant had everything clearly labeled, I had the Vietnamese rice rolls, bhudda bowl and a side of wedges with a fresh ginger/Lemon/apple juice all for less than 25€!

Even though the restaurant was fully booked we still managed to get a table. The waiters were all really nice and especially the juices are freaking delicious. I ordered the vegan teriyaki. It was quite tasty, but unfortunately after a while the taste of the glutamate got to me. The portion size was perfect. The dish also had the most amazing polenta I ever had! Totally recommend it. All in all I think it’s a good place to get a vegan dish in a country where you hardly get any vegan stuff.

Several vegan options clearly marked on the menu. We had the vegan burger and teriyaki, both were very tasty. Reasonable prices and good service. Only downside was that they allowed smoking on the inside terrace (which is almost the whole place).

Food was delish! I tried the gyros (removed the cream and cheese) and it was a decent serve for a reasonable price. Going back today for lunch to try more stuff. Definitely recommend.
