Terrible service - Edit
The food was just okay. When we finished she took awhile to check on us, which was understandable because they got very busy. However, once she knew we were done and she had boxed up my leftovers, she said she’d be back for my husband’s. We waited at least 15-20 minutes before I flagged her down to wrap my husband’s. Then I still had to ask to pay when she started to walk away. I also had possibly the smallest pour of wine ever.

Vegan options present 🙂 - Edit
Relatively spacious restaurant and pizzeria located by the main road leading from the motorway to Bled, on the small hill just before the road descends towards the lake. Food focus is Italian (pizza, pasta, risotto) with some traditional Slovenian items (in appetizers, mains and desserts section). Nice to see that there are also some clearly marked vegan options on the menu: a starter (hummus), a vegan pizza (very good), two vegan salads and 3 varieties of vegan ice cream (sorbet - delicious, small local brand Mama Paula from Kranj; a must try). A few more items can be easily veganized by omitting cheese. Excellent Neapolitan pizza.
Read morePlenty space both indoor and outdoor. Friendly and attentive staff, fast service. Good selection of beverages, including slovenian wines by the glass. Good coffee, plant based milk available.
Pros: Clearly marked vegan items, Competent friendly staff, Comfortable outdoor seating
Cons: A vegan main dish and vegan dessert would be nice
