Outstanding traditional Bolivian dishes

Tulasi make traditional Bolivian dishes vegan. I am Bolivian but live in Australia and I was so pleased that they make traditional food fully vegan and delicious. Their saltenas (savoury pastry) are better than the vegan ones I have tasted in Washington and Australia. The only downside is you have to order a head as they sell out fast. Some pastries are vegetarian, I hope this changes and they can make it fully vegan. But well done Tulasi, it is hard to achieve what you have. Great value too very affordable and large sizes.

Very mediocre

Ordered a Thai bowl. It's pasta and guino with ketchup and barbeque sauce. Came with some tofu which is okay. But also ketchup and BBQ sauce flavoured.

No mushrooms, nothing Thai. Idk I'm usually not too picky but this wasn't good.
Also I doubt it's affiliated with Krishna.

Pros: It's open , They have juice

Cons: Food

Tasty food - venue looks run down

Food was tasty and brought out quickly. Had a vegan burger and fries. Fries tastes like British chips that you get from a British chip shop.
Burger was alright, bread a bit dry.

Venue needs better lighting and a make over as looks run down.

Pros: Prompt service , Tasty food

Cons: Venue looks a bit rough , Toilet pan could be seen from where I was sitting

Best vegan food in Cochabamba - poor service though

I had the Buddha bowl and it was amazing. The best food I had in Cochabamba in the past week. However, the service is not that great. There was only one person to attend the tables, cook and do the retails… so the service was super slow. But it was worth the wait …

Amazing!!!

I had the tray with chorizos, tofu, ‘steak’, french fries and fried veggies.
It was super filling and very tasty, the veggies have an amazing sauce and so does the steak, I definitely recommend coming here :)
Everything is vegan and they even have ice creams and cake!

Best vegan food I’ve had in Bolivia.

I’ve tried vegan food in Santa Cruz, La Paz, and Cochabamba. This is without a doubt the best. Beyond the flavor, however, is the fact that they have vegan versions of traditional Bolivian food, meaning you can experience Bolivian culture vegan style!

Deliciosa comida vegana

Lots of yummy vegan food

An al a carte menu with seitan, schnitzels, bowls etc. Also an option for the 3 course buffet for 20BOBs, salad bar, soup, a juice etc. They have homemade ice creams, cakes and pastries.

Pros: Buffet is cheap , Big portions for the al a carte and cake , Sweet options

Cons: Said all vegan but they had cheese empanadas

Only good things

This place was the first totally vegan restaurant I visited in South America back in 2014. The service was so so friendly, enthusiastic about veganism, and kind. The food was delicious and very affordable. Loved having a set menu, no decisions necessary and caused us to try new things! I cannot wait to visit again.

They claim to be vegan so that's even better. Amazing food and very cheap. Just come, try and support the movement❤️

Comida sana a precio justo

Pros: Precio justo, Delicioso , Variado

Authentic Bolivian Vegetarian Food

Went here for dinner--they offer a set meal for B$10, which included a Bolivian soup that had yuca, squash, rice (and a few other ingredients) with a clear broth as the 1st course and rice with a thin soy steak as the main course (along with a whole-grain roll). It came with coconut juice (but in a cup, not in the coconut). The dinner was confirmed vegan, but the lunch buffet which they serve does have some dairy (mainly some yogurt items on the buffet menu). They also have pastries for sale at the front of the restaurant. They have lots of posters with info about food, including an interesting one that shows how much water is required to produce a pound of various meat, dairy, egg and vegetarian products (even comparing different vegetarian foods). Decent food but nothing outstanding, though the place is a bit noisy being on a major street. Kudos for being open at night (I was there around 7:30 PM)--if you've gotten this far, you probably know a lot of Latin American vegetarian restaurants are only open for lunch!

Pros: authentic Bolivian, open at night, good veggie-info posters

Cons: street noise, only 1 choice for dinner
