Excellent food

I didn't have high hopes for my stay, as I had read some pretty bad reviews on their vegetarian food, but I found that the food at Maria Laach Seehotel was delightful. My omnivorous friends and coworkers were also very happy with their meals. I asked them to veganize mine, and I was so happily surprised. People generally make me a decent vegan meal wherever I go, but they really went above and beyond. I didn't request anything for dessert on my last night there (the first night I did, and they created something just for me; mini brownies with fresh berries and mango compote), so they asked if I was sure that I didn't want dessert. I told them I didn't want them to have to go out of their way to do so, but they made sure I also got a sweet treat after dinner. Their breakfast is also really good.

Pros: They were able to adapt on the spot, Well rounded, delicious vegan options, Great service

Cons: I'd love to see them have a proper vegan menu
