Bad experience

We spent close to an hour waiting for our food. For ordering, it took significant reiteration to convince our waiter that there is a difference between vegan and vegetarian food. We are not convinced the food we were served was 100% vegan. Prices are very high: we payed S/30 for a simple (and pretty bland tasting) bowl of soup.

Cons: Very expensive, Staff does not understand vegan, Very long waittimes

A more affordable menu of the day

This restaurant has a vegetarian menu of the day for 20 soles which is a bit cheaper than other restaurants which charge 30 .

The vege menu of the day runs all day and gives you multiple choices for entre, main, and desert. They also understand what vegan means, and can help you select the vegan options in the menu.

We had quinoa soup for entre, and quinoa with vegetables for main, and fruit salad for dessert and were very happy with the taste and quality. Though the portion was a bit small; however the value for money in Aguas Calientes is pretty good.
