Worst meal we've had in 8 months of traveling - Edit
I got the spaghetti as a previous review raved about it, it was truly awful. The sauce was a sweet margarine flavoured sauce which was so sickly, I have no idea what the nuggets were, they just tasted like deep fried oil, the contents were grey and they were chewy. My girlfriend got the vegan saltado, the meat replacement was tasteless and the texture was like playdoh. Her chips were undercooked and soggy. Came to £17.50/$20 USD with a maracuya juice that was 100% not fresh and from a bottle. So so bad.

Delicious! - Edit
Love that they have a seperate vegan menu. Ordered the spaghetti and it was so good we came back the next day for the same thing. No mention of nuggets on the menu but it did come with nuggets which I’m not mad about. Loved the food!

Excellent vegan menu from a passionate chef - Edit
Had previously ran as an all-vegan restaurant called Vegano Peruano (which still comes up on maps) but since the Pandemic has had to run under Restaurant Paracas. The food was excellent Peruvian dishes, cooking vegan food without relying on imported traditional vegan ingredients e.g. Tofu. Owner was absolutely lovely and well worth supporting: while the restaurant currently serves animal peoducts, the owner expressed desire to turn the restaurant fully vegan if it made enough money.
Read moreWhile it is listed as an expensive restaurant, dishes were 38 sols, approx £8 at time of writing, which was well worth it as budget travelling vegans.

Tienen un menú vegano con bastantes opciones. Yo me decanté por el salteado de verduras con arroz y “pollo” vegano. Bastante rico, pero me quedé con hambre.

Large menu, portions and taste - Edit
This place advertises itself as vegan, but it’s part of a larger restaurant. The vegan menu is fairly large, though the items are similar.
Read moreThough a bit pricey, the portions are huge, the service great, and it’s bold with flavor. Just be aware that the tour groups seem to go there and it could get crowded.
I ordered the Tacu Tacu. So huge I could eat only half the rice and I was starving. There wasn’t much else and they gave me mushrooms instead of the veggie meat, which was a little annoying.
Maybe one of the best places for vegan options and large meals.

Great veg menu - Edit
This restaurant has a lot of veg options, I had the ceviche and croquets and it was great! But maybe it was too spicy (it’s a Peru’s thing tho)

Delicious Peruvian Food - Edit
Not sure why this place doesn’t have better reviews. Extensive vegan menu as well as omni menu. Authentic and delicious Peruvian dishes. Great recommendations from the owner and chef. Everything was cooked well and tastes fresh and tasty. Loved the “meats” made out of beans, lentils etc rather than fake processed vegan meat. Good drink selection too, and friendly service. Recommended!

Definitely THE vegan place in Paracas - Edit
Best vegan restaurant in town. Homemade & creative meat alternatives. Fresh vegetables. Cool and English-speaking staff. Pure restaurant with cocktails, so no party-springbreak atmosphere. Nice view on the sea from 4th floor. Good spicy sauce. Big portions.

Simply amazing! - Edit
Typical Peruvian dishes the vegan way - and on top of that they taste absolutely delicious. There is quite a nice option which makes it hard to choose but you may just have to come back again😄Our waiter Ruben was also very friendly and kind and didn't disappoint us with his recommendation. I highly recommend this place as all dishes had great flavours.

Separate (and big) vegan menu, nice views, good service and banging food. - Edit
We came to this restaurant because of its extensive vegan menu. The restaurant is on the 4th floor (accessible by lift) and had amazing views out over the harbour.
Read moreRuben was our waiter and was super friendly and helpful!
The food was really good too. We were spoilt for choice but ordered starter of vegan tequenos then main dishes of vegan tacu tacu and vegan chaufa. The tequenos were average, but the main dishes were amazing! The portions were MASSIVE too. We came back the next night for more - this time trying the other vegan tacu tacu from the menu, which was equally as good.
The drinks are fairly pricey here but the food was really good and if we were in town longer we would have returned a third time!
Pros: Vegan menu, BIG portions, Friendly service
Cons: Pricey drinks

So delicious - Edit
This restaurant and Vegano Peruano are two halves of the same restaurant operating at the same location. We came to this restaurant 3 times during our week stay in Paracas because it was so good and the staff were so friendly. It was great to try veganised Peruvian food - the tigers milk was especially good (we got that every time!) along with the taku taku vegano a couple of times. The causa was lovely but very similar to British mash potato so if you're looking for something more adventurous that won't be it. The poor man's tenderloin, tequeños and the croquettes and nuggets were also very nice, the croquettes the nicest in a sweet curry sauce. The passionfruit juice is also sour and refreshing

Tasty take on Peruvian food - Edit
We went here for lunch after going to a couple of places on Google that either no longer existed or took far too long for service.
Read moreThey have a completely separate vegan / vegetarian menu with lots of options. I had the vegan ceviche and enjoyed it. My husband had the saltado (I think) with the same meat substitute so I guess it's the same in every dish. He enjoyed it but mine was better. Nice and cool view out on to the harbour and friendly staff. We got our order in just before the bus of tourists turned up at 12 so were served promptly but not rushed out.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Nice view overlooking the harbour, Friendly bilingual staff for when you get stuck!
Cons: A tad expensive but similar in Paracas, Order before the bus load of tourists

Great restaurant if you’re just stopping in one time. Second time we went we realized all the meat substitutes are the same so it gets very boring. The croquettes, nuggets, steak, ceviche, are all the same kind of meat substitute.

Not good - Edit
I ordered the cooked vegetable salad en the vegan saltado. After 30 minutes they told me they didn’t have enough vegetables for the salad so I could take the fresh salad. That was a big bowl of plain lettuce, some tomato, cucumber and some avocado. The saltado had undercooked rice and overcooked onions (almost only onions), paprika and some little vegan balls. And there were a few fries with it. I paid 32 sole for a real bad and small saltado. Only the waiter was doing a good job.
