The vegan menu is actually one option of starter, main and dessert courses. (There are only two omnivore options on each course, so this is a reasonable percentage of the whole menu in this comparatively small restaurant.) The food was nicely presented, and the flavours were subtle and delicious. The sole waiter was rushed off his feet but was friendly and took time to ensure we understood the options. There was a bit of a wait before he was able to give us the menu but otherwise he did a remarkable job of getting round all his customers at regular intervals. I was a little surprised to be charged full price for two courses as I’d chosen a starter and a dessert, not a main, but the overall price was reasonable.

A good find - Edit
Vegan options clearly marked. The cassoulet was very tasty and the vegan pannecotta delicious. Friendly service and nice atmosphere, a great find in a dessert of cruelty free food.

Good, fresh food - Edit
We went for lunch and the menu is much smaller, but still had good options for vegan and meat eaters. Staff are really nice and friendly, and portions are perfrct size.

Simple food, overpriced - Edit
The location is great, the staff friendly, and in this region of France it's great to finally find some vegan options. Since cassoulet is the local typical dish, I was really interested in tasting a vegan version of it.
Read moreThe food is simple, a bit bland, for the price... I had the goat cheese bruschetta which seemed to be a slice of industrial white bread with two slices of 'soignon'-type goat cheese and a salad, for 9€. The cassoulet was OK (beans weren't cooked enough to be 'fondant' as they should be, 3 cubes of tofu and a very bland vegan sausage cut in three, all in a liquid sauce that could be thickened) but nothing exceptional, could be much tastier. Costed 18€...
Dessert was very good though I didn't take a vegan option.
Overall, food I could have made at home for much cheaper.
Pros: Location, Staff, Vegan options clearly on the menu
Cons: Simple food, Overpriced

Gorgeous restaurant, great service. Staff knew difference between vegan and vegetarian and made recommendations. We had the daily set menu which included vegan options- soup, tofu steak and kiwi tart.

Nice restaurant with some vegan options - Edit
It's a nice restaurant with friendly, hard working staff. The vegan options are marked well on the menu. The falafel starter tasted well. The tofu wok with vegetables tasted good, but could be made more delicious with an extra touch. The fruit dessert was simple, but fresh.

Vegan options limited - Edit
I live locally and read the reviews on the cassoulet and thought I’d give it a try.
Read moreBruschetta starter was adapted without the feta , it was ok nothing special.
The Cassoulet was bland and under seasoned, contained over cooked white ( haricot blanc) beans , a few diced carrots and a tofu sausage stewed to within an inch of its life that disintegrated.
It was just flavourless and I was truly disappointed, I won’t be returning, it was overpriced, even in this climate.
Staff were friendly , place was in a good location, however I shan’t be returning . I certainly wasn’t bowled over .
Pros: Good bread , Nice location , Friendly staff
Cons: Expensive , Limited choice

Delicious and lovely atmosphere - Edit
The appetizers (entrées) that we got were delicious and went together really well (falafels salad & beetroot carpaccio). Main course was delicious as well, we got the vegan burger (it was deliciously seared tofu) and the vegan cassoulet (when in Carcassonne...) and we enjoyed them in the lovely back garden. We didn’t have a vegan dessert (chocolate fondant, basically lava cake) but there were options that sounded good. Overall, delicious option for vegans/vegetarians and would come back next time we visit the city since it’s only 1.5 hours from home!

Good but not creative - Edit
I had the beanstew with vegan saucage and tofu which tasted a little bland. I enjoyed the dish but it could be better with quality vegan meat replacers and good seasoning.

Vegan option oasis in Carcassonne - Edit
We had a lovely meal here. This is the only restaurant we found in Carcassonne which understands what "vegan" means. They had a vegan starter, three vegan options for main, and a vegan dessert. The butternut squash soup for starter was delicious, the vegan burger for main was really tasty with a cheesy sauce and relish alongside home-made fries. My partner had a sautéed tofu dish which was also very tasty and well-seasoned. We both had the fruit tartare for pudding, which is basically a posh fruit salad, but a very good one. We sat in the courtyard at the rear of the restaurant which was very pleasant, and a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the tight streets in the city.

local agradable, precio caro - Edit

Vegan island in Carcassonne - Edit
It is very hard to find a decent place to eat began food in Carcassonne, this restaurant is one of them. Staff is very prof and friendly. vegan food is not the best though. I had a tofu burger, which wasnt bad, but for this price i would expect better food. Worth to try, if you wan to eat something else than frozen falafel

Very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of vegetarian and some vegan options and waiter knew exactly what ingredients in different dishes. Had a lovely vegan cassoulet - and enjoyed being able to taste local speciality without a duck in it.
