Delicious food, only 2 options - Edit
Es gibt zwei vegane Gerichte, die orientalische Linsensuppe und das Grillgemüse auf Süßkartoffelbrei. Beides ist sehr lecker und aus hochwertigen Zutaten. Das Dessert ändert sich regelmäßig, bei uns war es glücklicherweise Rote Grütze, sodass wir auch noch leckeren Nachtisch genießen konnten. Auf Amrum auf jeden Fall eine der besseren Optionen für Veganer.

At the moment, they have a vegan starter (chickpea soup) and a vegan main (mashed sweet potato with grilled vegetables). I had the main. It was a big portion, well-seasoned and garnished with parsnip crisps. Very good food! Friendly service. The cook is happy to adjust the ingredients to your likings/allergies.

Only one dish is labeled as vegan! - Edit
On the menu only the lentil soup is clearly labeled as vegan! If you want to have a main dish (the lentil soup is only listed under 'Soups') that is vegan you have to call them 1-2 days before! On the front page of the menu it is written that it is no problem to ask for a vegan dish and that the cook is happy to come up with something, however when I kindly asked whether there was a main dish that is vegan the response was rather harsh and the waitress told me that I should have called. Therefore I ordered the lentil soup and a small salad with a vegan dressing. The soup was very delicious and the view from the terrace amazing! The soup could also easily qualify as a main dish as it is rather filling and served with some bread. If however you would like to eat something else, I highly recommend calling them in advance!

Ein kleines Restaurant direkt am Strand mit Blick auf Dünen und Meer. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr entgegenkommend. Auf der Karte gibt es 2 bis 3 vegane Gerichte. Kulinarisch verwöhnt wird man hier, wenn man ein bis zwei Tage vorher anruft und dem Chef Bescheid gibt, dass man vegan essen möchte. Wir saßen kaum am Tisch, schon kam der Koch/Inhaber begrüßte uns und erläuterte, welche Vorspeise und Hauptgang er zubereite.
Read moreGeschmacklich waren beide Gänge einfach eine Explosion. Fein abgeschmeckt, Gemüse knackig, toll dekoriert und geschmacklich harmonierte alles miteinander. Slow Food der Extraklasse. Wer richtig gut Essen gehen möchte und bereit ist, dafür zu zahlen, dem lege ich diese Location ans Herz.
