Very fine and cozy restaurant with enough vegan dishes to come back once or twice 😉
Read moreI don't know much about food from Sri Lanka but everything we ordered was delicious. Be careful about the dips which come with the starters, they can be pretty spicy 🙃

The Breitengrad restaurant offers a large selection of dishes from Sri Lanka in addition to some standard dishes. This way you can get to know the cuisine of the small island state in the Indian Ocean without having to travel far.
Read moreThe food is extremely tasty and adapted to the European palate in its degree of spiciness. But if you wish, you can also get the full fireworks for your taste buds. However, caution is advised here, because those who eat deep-fried chilli peppers as a snack, for example, have a different perception of spiciness ;-)
The dishes are very appetising and the perfect size for me. My hunger is satisfied, but I don't fall into an after-lunch coma.
The service is very friendly, unobtrusive and quick.
We always enjoy coming to Breitengrad and have already booked the restaurant with its small garden twice for family celebrations and enjoyed a wonderful Sri Lanka buffet.
Vegetarian dishes: The menus offer a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. My absolute recommendation is the unofficial national dish of Sri Lanka, a Rice & Curry, which is offered here in a very yummy vegan version.
Pros: Tasty Sri Lankan food, Very friendly service, Cosy garden to sit in
