Vegan competent country hotel in beautiful location

Hotel was charming, service was friendly, views were amazing, from the room and the restaurant. Separate vegetarian and vegan menus, staff were well aware and made sure the spread for the bread was vegan. Vegan amuse bouche between courses too.

Good choice at breakfast, including full cooked breakfast plus choice of cereals and vegan yoghurt. Wine list has vegan wines marked, with plenty of choice.

Pros: Stunning views over Loch Shuna and Sound of Jura, Vegan savvy staff, Quality of food

Cons: Only two vegan mains, so good for a weekend, Desserts variations on vanilla ice cream + fruit

Delightful location to enjoy fantastic food

A variety of tasty vegan options available. Separate vegan menu (Separate vegetarian , dairy-free, and gluten-free menus also) which was thoughtful. Very welcoming and accommodating staff.
Local discount available with pre-registered card.

Pros: Location and lochside views, Pea and vegan halloumi bruschetta, Welcoming and accommodating staff

Excellent base for vegans

we stayed here three nights and really enjoyed it. Breakfast included full vegan cooked option of sausages, haggis, beans, mushrooms, tattie scones, plus vegan yogurts, fruit salad, toast and vegan spread, and at least two non-dairy milks. At dinner the separate vegan menu gave a choice of three starters, three mains, and two desserts; one vegan white wine and one vegan red by the glass. The food was very high quality and tasty and service was very professional.

Pros: fine vegan dining, great service and awareness of veganism

Cons: wider wine choice would be good

Great vegan menu

This place has its own vegan menu
Plus it caters for all other requirements.
Food was great with a few vegan options for starters and mains. Dessert good option at Panna Cotta or sorbey, which was lovely, nice to see a actual option!
