Serves meat, vegan options available. Italian restaurant offering one marked vegan pasta. Vegetarian pizzas can be veganized by removing the cheese, as well as the salad and focaccia. Open Mon-Sat 5:30pm-11:00pm.
It was very easy to veganise the vegetarian pizzas because you just ask for no cheese. The downside is the pizza is a bit bland so you will need the chilli oil.
Recommend pairing the pizza with the only marked vegan option on the menu - a garlic olive caper and tomato pasta. By using some of that filling on the pizza it completed the flavour really well. Don't order this if you don't like garlic though!
The pasta is just packet dried pasta rather than fresh, but in that sense at least we knew it was vegan as fresh pasta tends to have egg.
The price is definitely higher than other restaurants in the area but the courtyard is a lovely atmosphere and service is decent. You can see why tourists like to go there.
As with most places - there were no vegan proteins or dessert options. It would be nice if they offered a sorbet at least since that fits with the Italian theme.

Good for tarrafal - Edit
Not many options in tarrafal, and this is probably one of the better ones.

The pizza marinara was delicious - Edit
I ordered a pizza marinara, you can add extra ingredients, so I asked for mushrooms, the pizza was really delicious, the best I had in Cape Verde.
