Vegan/vegetarian more than an add-on - Edit
Lots of vegan and vegetarian choices, knowledgeable team and the food was good. Pricey but in an area in which vegan means usually “eat the fried potatoes and pick out the bacon - what do you mean, of course they were fried in butter” it is a treasure box.

Die vegane Auswahl ist wirklich top und deswegen hatte ich zunächst große Vorfreude. Außerdem ist das Konzept echt klasse, da vieles regional sein soll. Leider war die Portion am Ende sehr klein und absolut ungesalzen. Mit Salz war es jedoch dann sehr schmackhaft, aber trotzdem nicht 26 Euro gerechtfertigt..Als erwachsener Mensch braucht man davon mindestens zwei Portionen und das sage ich als eine normalgewichtige, unterdurchschnittliche große Frau. Es kommt nur an den Sättigungsfaktor einer Vorspeise heran.

Very disappointing - Edit
For context, I had been hiking all day and really looking forward to having a vegan meal at the top-rated place in Echternach.
Read morePerhaps I chose the wrong dish, but I was under the impression that one of their most expensive dishes at €26, the "creamy truffle mushroom pasta" would fill me right up. However, it was just a marked-up, wannabe fancy dish with very few truffles, served in a comically oversized plate. The portion was incredibly small, I didn't complain at first because I was so hungry, but when the waiter returned to check on me, he first blamed the chef for my unsatisfaction before thankfully offering a second dish for free.
There was a catch though, I could only order the same pasta dish again!
At this point it was an irredeemable situation, but I didn't want to turn down a free meal while still being quite hungry. It seemed the second time someone told the chef to get his act together, so this time the truffles and mushrooms were plentiful which really added a lot of flavour and made the pasta pretty tasty!
Overall, I really wanted to like this restaurant - maybe the other dishes warrant the good reviews. And while a burger could have been more filling, I was looking for a carbohydrate-rich meal to prepare for the next hike :(

I was pleasantly surprised finding a restaurant with this many vegan options in Echternach. More or less half of the menu is vegetarian or vegan. I tasted the vegan flamkuchen and the fresh asparagus dish, both were very tasty and copious. The restaurant has a nice terrace. The staff is a not over friendly: quiet but correct.

We had dinner here last night. Group of vegans, veggies and omnivores. Plenty of options for everybody. I had the vegan burrata and the beetroot nocchi. Both were good. Maybe a little more spices would have made it even beter. 4 vegan dessert options as well, but unfortunately no more room for that.

I love the many vegan options. Almost half of their big menu is vegan. I had the pulled jackfruit burger and it was delicious. Service was super friendly. All in all a great experience.

My husband ordered green curry which was also really tasty. There were not a lot of vegetables (small salad next to the burger and Some in the curry but not like loaded).
There are so many vegan options in the menu, I was really impressies. All the desserts are vegan! Would highly recommand this place.

The restaurant is located at a beautiful location and the food is really good. I had the vegan power bowl and my boyfriend had the vegan orzotto. We both really liked our dish. Afterwards we shared the wildberry mousse on cheesecake.

One of the only "regular" restaurants in Lux that caters effectively for vegans - there's enough to choose from and everything we've tried has been great. Gets busy on weekends so book ahead.

Omni restaurant with lots of vegan options - Edit
I really like going to this restaurant. They have tons of vegan options on the menu. The menu changes regularly and they even do seasonal vegan events like a vegan raclette evening. The service is super friendly and the food is nicely aranged and tastes amazing. Moreover, the vegan options they serve, are often unique and cannot be found in other restaurants in Luxembourg.

Really nice selection of food in a gorgeous setting (definitely sit outside if it’s a nice day). There are salads and burgers but also pizza and some traditional dishes from the region (Kniddelen and Flamkuch), and other hot dishes like pasta and risotto. Sadly the kitchen closes before we were able to order desserts but they sound really tasty as well!

The food is good and they obviously make an effort to cater to vegans. Everything was fresh and the vegan dishes also seem well thought through, so that's already a big plus. Staff are also friendly, despite the fact that it can get quite busy over the weekend.
Read moreI do have a few remarks to make though as I do see some room for improvement.
First of all, the bolognese on the kids menu can't be ordered unless you're a child - poor decision but fair enough, but then offer at least a full portion for people who would still like to have pasta.
Then the biggest problem I have with this establishment: the ridiculous opening hours of the kitchen.
Echternach might well be from the middle ages, but you don't need to be stuck in the past like that. It's simply not contemporary anymore to close the kitchen during the day. If this was just during the week, I'd understand, but on the weekend when the terrace is packed? I don't know what to say.
We arrived at 13:55 and got our order in just before the kitchen "closed" and witnessed how a lot of people asked for food, but could only order Flammkuchen.
All in all, you can enjoy a nice vegan meal here if you arrive at the right time. The food and drinks absolutely deliver.

We are spending a lot of time in the development of new vegan dishes and try to dissociate from boring vegan offers.
Netherless we disagree in two of your headed points.
First, yes there are dishes especially for our little guests, they are simple and less flavoured, so perfect for younger eaters.
Second one, the opening hours.
We are a Restaurant and our opening hours of the kitchen are adjusted to the mealtime were most of our guests want to eat.
We are working with a small kitchen- and service-crew, and even if we would open the kitchen during the midday, it would be non-econominal in relation from guests and the money you have to pay for a cook in Luxembourg.
For those who want to have a snack beyond the mealtimes we are offering three different Flammkuchen (also a vegan version). The reservations and response of our guests prove us right in the opening hours of our kitchen.
Finally we hope that we could explain our point of view an hope to see you again in our Restaurant.

Read moreSo the burger that you had was a Kids Burger - first not vegan and second for children. A lot of kids don‘t like tomatoes, salad or cucumber on his burger, so we make only the sauce and the patty on the bun. If there will be one day where somebody ask for salad or tomato on it, that will be no problem.
Our salad are all seasoned, but you could ask if you want more dressing.
You waited an hour, that could be possible if the restaurant and our delivery service is fully booked.
We work with an small staff, and our food is cooked fresh so its possible that sometimes it took longer, I‘m sorry for that.
