Vegan and affordable, the only option in the area! - Edit
Nice people running a food truck about 45min-1hr walk from Mont-Saint Michel. About 20min walk from the Visitor and Information Center. They have a short menu of which the dal plate is certainly vegan, and I believe the dumplings are too, just ask the kind chef.
Read moreFor 9,5 euro, it was a great and fresh meal in a tiny town with what felt like zero options. After wandering around Mont-St-Michel and the neighboring town hopelessly, I stumbled upon this place and they happily served me up their vegan dal from their cute food truck. I was so glad to have found it!
As a note, if you’re walking from Mont-St-Michel or the Information Center like me, don’t follow Google Maps’ advice and walk along the highway like an idiot. There’s a nice path next to the river/aqueduct where you don’t have to trudge through mud for 25 minutes as the cars whizz past you.
Pros: Well-flavored food, Relatively cheap, Vegan option where I expected none
Cons: Small menu (so only 2 vegan options)
