Good food! - Edit

Patagonia could be hard for vegans since there're not many options available, so Ren is quite a discovery.
They have some good vegan options, you can either sit there or take the good to go.
A good choice if you're in Bariloche.

Pros: vegan options available, not expensive

Great Restaurant - Edit

Great little buffet restaurant with friendly staff. The staff can speak some English and they are accommodating to vegans.
The food was all really good and well priced. We will definitely go back again!

Cheap vegan food, always good - Edit

I had a few take-out lunches here. The fact that I came back should say enough. Most is vegetarian, not vegan, but the staff is happy to explain the vegan options. Get warmed up in the microwave, so no haute cuisine if that's what your after. I was excited, my boyfriend wasn't, so it's a matter of taste I guess.

At least it's cheap, you pay per 100gr.

Pros: Cheap, Central location

Cons: Mostly vegetarian

A few good vegan options - Edit

There's actually two of these places on the same street - the other one is just a bit further up. Only a few vegan options but staff are knowledgable about what they are and they're pretty tasty eg. noodles dishes and baked potatoes. Pretty cheap too.

A few vegan options but still a gem for Bariloche - Edit

Beautiful array of food but only a few of them are vegan (others are vegetarian). The food was good, but not great. I had the setain, noodles and bean sprout mix as well as their tasty fresh carrot and apple juice. The total was around $8, so very reasonable.

Pros: Convient, Inexpensive , Good vegan food available in Bariloche

Cons: The vegetarian options looked tastier

Superb selection of tasty veggie food - Edit

We were so happy to find this amazing veggie place on arrival to Bariloche. An array of tasty homemade options to choose from, you can choose a bit of everything and the cost is based on the weight of your plate. Also possible to takeaway. Lasagne, quiche, empanadas, rice with veg, noodles, stirfry, veg curry, tarts, tortilla, potato dauphinoise bake - all fresh and soooooo tasty! Reasonably priced too. We ate here almost every day and wish every city had somewhere like this, even back home. Welcome change from surviving on stodgy pasta everywhere else in argentina :)

Pros: great selection of food, so tasty, fresh

Cons: wifi didn't work

Maso - Edit

La comida es rica pero hay poca variedad y es caro.

had many meals here - Edit

There are two vegetarian buffet restaurants in town and we preferred the other one, Naga Kesara, but they had more limited hours, so we only ate there once.

Naga Kesara has more healthy vegan options, such as raw and cooked vegetables and is Asian style. Ren was a little less healthy with more processed options, like milanesas, and lasagna and veggie pies, a lot of which contain milk or cheese. It is still a good option though!

Decent And Cheap - Edit

Limited vegan options, but the ones they had were nice, and they sell soy milk :) if you can, ask them to double check with the kitchen which options are vegan as there seemed to be a little confusion when we first asked.

A few vegan choices - Edit

This place offers a vegetarian buffet, where you pay by weight. Staff are knowledgeable on the vegan options, however, these seemed to be three different kinds of noodles on the day I went. I would have liked some more variety but it was better than nothing and they tasted good.

If you are vegetarian the selection is much better and I met a bunch of non-vegetarians at my hostel who kept going there because they really liked the food.

One thing I didn't like was you can't get your food on a plate and use proper cutlery. It only comes in a plastic container with plastic forks even if you are eating it there.

Pros: Open every day, Some vegan options

Cons: Limited variety of vegan options, Too much plastic
