Expensive; but decent vegan options. - Edit
Visited in October 2016.
The vegan menu is not large; but there are plates to choose from. There is always a vegan set that includes appetizer, main and dessert. But you can also have the plates a la carte (we had the raw lasagna and the curry with shirataki noodles - both were good).
Plates are tasty; but a bit expensive for what you get; but I guess it's like that in Bruges.
The bread was very tasty, by the way.
The service was great, very friendly and attentive to vegan customers.
It seems there are not so many places with good vegan food in Bruges, so Reliva is a good choice.
If you do go, I'd recommend to book a table in advance, as I saw people being turned away as the place was full.
Pros: vegan options, service was superb
Cons: not fully vegan, price

Excellent food, even better service - Edit
I completely fell in love with this place. The interior is clean and modern, a bit Scandinavian looking. This is a family owned business with the mother and daughter in the kitchen and the very charming son-in-law waiting tables. The food is simply amazing: original, well-presented, interesting combinations. The restaurant is very vegan-friendly, with even vegan wines on the menu. Do not miss out on this place when you visit Bruges.
Pros: Vegan wines, Personal service, Excellent, original food

Just one vegan menu but the food is excellent - Edit
Very nice restaurant located in the city center. They only have one vegan menu (one started, one main course and one dessert), so if you live there, that is probably no a place you will visit very often. But for me, that went to Bruges just for the weekend, it was great.
Despite the few vegan options, the food´s quality is excellent! I had the pumpkin soup as a starter and the lasagna as main course, which was just delicious!
The staff is very friendly too.
I recommend you to make a reservation. We didn´t do so and were lucky to be allocated, because most of the tables were reserved.
Pros: excellent food, friendly staff, in the city center
Cons: just one vegan menu, pretty expensive

Vegan Fine Dining in Brugge - Edit
My husband and I went to Brugge for a day, and we wanted to eat at a nice place where we would both be happy. He eats meat, and I wanted a vegan meal. After doing a search online, I found Réliva, which offers a vegan menu, as well as a couple of menus with animal products. My meal began with roasted butternut squash soup, perfectly seasoned and with bits of pear in it. The main course was a hearty lasagna with a bechamel sauce. And for dessert, I had a raw spiced chocolate mousse that was both delicious and intriguing. My husband tried all of my dishes, and he said he liked my food even more than his (he ordered one of the meat-based menus)! Our server was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere of the place was lovely - warm, comfortable, relaxing, and romantic. Overall, we had a fabulous fine-dining experience. I highly recommend Réliva and will go back myself if I revisit Brugge.
Pros: Fine dining experience for vegans, Excellent, friendly service, Elegant, romantic atmosphere

Should get 5 stars - vegan menu was fantastic! - Edit
Réliva not only offers a very warm and friendly interior + service, it also offers a 3-course vegan menu which was very delicious! We had a well flavored pumpkin soup, a BIG vegan lasagne with a great béchamel, garnished with pine nuts and for dessert a fantastic crème brûlée and mousse au chocolate.
That said, we were really happy to find this place and recommend every vegan to make a stop here to enjoy that nice place.
Pros: Friendly service, Great food
Cons: none

Place to go for vegans - Edit
This is a real gem in Bruges. 3 course vegan meal cost 35 euros. Very flavoursome starters, brilliant lasagne and chocolate mousse! Restaurant run by mother and son who are super friendly and look after you and the chef is 23 old girl apparently who makes all these amazing food. Real no brainer!

5 stars - Edit
I would give this restaurant 5 stars if happycow allowed it. We enjoyed a very tasty 3 course vegan meal here. The starter choices included pumpkin soup with pear (amazing combination) or roasted cauliflower and almonds. For the main dish we had the lasagna and we finished with a chocolate mousse for dessert. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the vegan diet.
We ate lunch here right when they opened at 12 on a Saturday and no one else showed up until after 1. We heard that reservations are needed for dinner because they were already full for that evening.
Pros: gourmet vegan food , staff understand vegan diet

Great place, lovely food, vegan 3 course menu - Edit
At present, the only restaurant in Bruges which has a vegan 3-course menu standardly available (35€). Sometimes also another vegan suggestion available, and/or glutenfree (marked on menu card).
And we really like the food!
Nice interior, wining and dining restaurant style, friendly staff.
Some minor points: dishes sometimes not really warm, and no vegan cookie or milk with coffee (would be nice if they also pay attention to this, given their vegan friendly profile).
Make a reservation, because it's often fully booked!
We have written two reviews of Réliva on our blog:
One is here: https://brugesvegan.wordpress.com/2014/02/13/restaurant-reliva-2-bruges/
Pros: Vegan 3 course menu! , friendly, Nice food, variation, fresh
Cons: some detail (eg vegan milk for coffee)

Best food in Brugge - Edit
As a tourist in Brugge, being a vegan ain't easy - Thanks to Reliva it's possible to get delicious and nutritious food, made by a young professionel chef, who absolutely masters the fine art of creating wonderful vegan food. The staff is very friendly, they have several vegan opportunities on the menu, and the atmosphere of the place is just excellent. Be sure not to miss this place if you plan to visit beautiful Brugge. The only reason Reliva didn't get 5 happy cows, is because they serve meat, which makes it impossible to give more than 4.
Pros: High quality vegan food, Great wine, Friendly staff
