Read moreWE WANTED TO GO FOR LUNCH TODAY. THE LADY WHO OWNS THE SPOT EXPLAINED VERY RUDELY THAT THEY HAVE NOTHING VEGAN AND WON'T VEGANIZE ANY DISHES ALTHOUGH THERE IS PLENTY OF TOFU OPTIONS IN THE MENU. THE MENU ITSELF IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COMPARED TO THE LAST TIME I WENT THERE.
The Reiskorn is located next to a supermarket and is not really a more a "kiosk" with a small dining area indoor and outdoor. You are not going for a fancy dinner, more for a quick lunch. The owners are cooking everything on spot. Recipes are traditional thai/vietnamese and all ingredients are fresh and of good quality. You can watch while they prepare your dishes, mostly currys with rice. in different ways. I am eating there quite often for several years now and it's delicious every time. Can be pretty crowded during lunch time (noon) and then it might be hard to find a seat inside. I am mentioning that I am vegan every time cause it always feels like the owner sees me for the first time :)
