Make sure to specify exactly what veganism means - Edit
I asked for vegan fried noodles with vegetables and it arrived with an egg on top, when I mentioned this he just picked it off the top and asked everyone else on the table if they wanted it instead. I'd normally go through what vegan means when ordering but as the dedicated vegetarian menu said they do vegan too I assumed they knew. That's on me I guess

I think only one staff members actually speak English and understand "vegan" or "vegetarian" so if he's not around it can be quite difficult to order...

It's impossible to order and just rice is not a meal! - Edit
I don't know how all the other people who left a review here did it but for us it was impossible to order the right thing. The lady serving us was nice but she wasn't able to read the menu because she didn't speak or read any English and the menu was only in English. I don't get why they don't have a menu in Khmer then... so we tried to order the Tofu Loklak with Rice and she seemed to have understood. But then she just brought us two plates with just rice and a little vegetable as decoration...excuse me, but just rice is not a meal!! And then she even charged us 6$ for that! I was shocked! Really disappointed, we are not going again.

My boyfriend and I both had the tofu Lok lak which was delicious and packed with tofu for those needing a protein fix! Just make sure to specify no egg if you're vegan.

Sona, the father, speaks very good English, and not only works in the restaurant, but also provides tuktuk service, tour service and organizes treks in the national park. It's kind of an all in one place 😄
The two kinds are very cute and polite and curious.
They have a menu 100% happycow which is very nice.
I encouraged them to stop promoting plastic straws and tend to go zero waste. Don't forget to ask for no straw when you order your drink !

There is an entire vegan menu at this great restaurant owned by a local couple. The husband used to be a monk hence his veganism. I had a great veggie curry. To support local businesses, go here.

For a very enjoyable time try Reggae Bar and Restaurant. Many Khmer dishes served in pleasing colorful display. I had the banana pancakes and fruit salad. Also had red curry with vegetables. Delicious and large portions. Inexpensive.
