Happy to have vegetarian food - Edit
The place was exceptionally beautiful overall. I was really glad to have vegetarian food, but it was pretty much just ok. Some people cooking seemed to be the same people doing various other jobs on the site.
Read moreThe service was slow... meals are only offered within certain windows of time and they request you let them know if you'll be eating. You're not supposed to bring your own food. The price was fine, but given the distance from my cabin and the slowness of the service, it all required a fair amount of patience.
The restaurant is the only place to eat if you stay there. They try to make it sustainable, which is great. But it means napkins weren't provided.
From my cabin (a group of 4) it was at least a 7 min. walk through a sometimes rough trail, longer returning because it's all uphill.
I went for three days in September and it rained for about 3 - 4 hours every day starting at 1:00.
Pros: Beautiful location , hot meals
Cons: Only place to eat, Long distance from some rooms
