Great variety - Edit
Restaurant has lots of options for everybody. We had the potato dumplings with sauerkraut and the vegan burger with fries. We both really enjoyed our meal but the potato dumplings with kraut was definitely the better of the two options.
Pros: nice variety

Just ok - Edit
Refresh restaurant looked like a very inviting place right in the city center. My omnivore boyfriend ordered the vegan burger which was made of rubin meat. It was good but a bit too sour for my taste. I ordered the dumplings with roasted tofu and didn't like it at all... It was also very sour. The homemade green ice tea with lemon and mint was very good though.
Our waiter was very nice but the one waiting the table right next to us seemed grumpy and annoyed.
Pros: Location , Atmosphere , Tasty beverages
Cons: Sour dishes

For vegans, vegetarians and meat-lovers - Edit
The sign outside said they have food for all kinds of people: vegans, vegetarians and meat-lovers. This made me and my omnivore boyfriend go and we weren't disappointed. Although the bun was a bit dry, the burger was good with tasty fries on the side.

Good location, food for everyone - Edit
I wanted to visit Re-Fresh because I'd heard they made vegan slovak food, so I ordered the only one slovak vegan option on the menu. It was a big portion of potato dumplings with smoked tofu and sauerkraut. It was too plain and boring so I couldn't finish it. I had raw chocolate mousse for dessert and it was just ok.
But the burgers and falafel people were having looked very tasty.
The homemade lemonade was very good and staff really friendly. Prices are reasonable and the place had a very nice atmosphere.
Pros: Good location, Nice staff

lots of choice! - Edit
Lots of vegan options, including a smoked tofu wrap with delicious Asian peanut sauce, a juicy vegan burger, vegan potato dumpling with smoked tofu (a traditional Slovak dish), falafel and soup. I had the wrap which was yummy and my boyfriend enjoyed his burger. A real find in the old town centre! Menu is in English with vegan options clearly marked.
Pros: tasty, plenty of options, English menu with vegan clearly marked

Slovak food - Edit
We were superexcited to find vegan slovak food at this place. We had some kind of pirogis and potatoes with saurkraut and tofu.
Service was a bit slow, but well worth the wait.
Recommended!
Pros: Slovak cuisine

Tasty food, great location, OK prices, poor service - Edit
I visited on a not-too-busy weekday, found a nice shaded seat outside .... and waited. And waited. I asked the waitress if I could order & she said yes. And I waited. So I asked a waiter & he sent the original waitress, who grumpily took my order. Not quite sure why my face didn't fit. I thought I looked quite respectable for a change. Anyway, €7 for a tasty spinach pancake with veg. Pricey enough but then it's a prime location so not bad. I wouldn't go back because of the service but if you're in town, hungry & don't mind waiting. And waiting. It's worth a look.
Pros: Reasonable prices considering location, Central location, A few vegan/veggie options
Cons: Awful service

for everyone - Edit
My friends love the vegan burgers, I on the otherside hated the ROBI (veg meat) that they used. Tha potato fries and coleslaw were great but the robi ruined it for me.
They have other vegan option tho so try their sous and appetizers!
Pros: in the center, vegan friendly, for everyone
Cons: small tables outside

vegan, vegetarian and meat options - Edit
My husband and I had two vegan burgers. I had the one from their menu and he had the weekly offer with a burger in gyros style. They were good, but the fake meat could need some more spices. But the sauce they served with the burger from their menu was very tasty and the fries were really good.

go there and bring all your friends - Edit
tried a vegan burger which was part of their weekly menu. the robi (fake meat) could've been a bit more seasoned, it was a bit tasteless this way. other than that, the burger was AMAZING. and don't even get me started on the fries and vegan herb mayo!!
best part: omnivores, vegetarians and vegans can all eat together and enjoy themselves. i was with my boyfriend who is a meat eater, we often have problems when choosing a restaurant which could be suitable for us both. re:fresh is the perfect solution.
the restaurant was pretty full (warm sunday night) yet the burgers only took a couple of minutes and the staff was super friendly.
very conveniently located in the centre of town.
Pros: amazing food, suitable for pretty much everyone, friendly staff

tasty vegan lunch on a sunday - Edit
We wanted to have some nice vegan lunch after a Sunday yoga session and found it to be rather difficult as most of the vegan places are closed on Sundays. We were lucky to find this restaurant though.
The menu contains a fair amount (five or six dishes) of vegan options. We had the weekly vegan soup made of red lentils, a spicy lentil stew and a chickpea burger with fries and vegan yogurt-garlic dip. The soups were very good as was the stew. The burger was decent and the fries were excellent.
Definitely recommendable!
Pros: Tasty vegan food, Open on Sunday, Friendly service

A different burger - Edit
Having been in Brattislava before I was not hopefully as my work trip arrived here at a Sunday nght to find some food for our mixed group, thankfully one of my coworkers is Slovak and had asked around enough to found some options and this was one of them, and as they where open and had space for us thats where we eat.
We ordered some tapas and I got the vegan burger as it was recommended as very good. The food well took it's time to be served though, but it tasted okey though the ROBI meat substitute was a strange new taste. Never heard of before, and I could not find it googling except in Slovakian pages, with google translate it seems to be a meat-substitute based on sprouts and beetroot.
I certanly have had better burgers, but I have had a lot worse too. I just wish that what ROBI is was mentioned somewhere.
Pros: Good tapas, Nice burger
Cons: Slow service, Unclearity of content

we had nice evening there - Edit
We were very happy there, because in Bratislava we found it hard to find something to eat on Sunday evening. The few vegan restaurants are closed and everywhere else you get meat with meat with meat. At Refresh we get very good burger and great fries. The waitress was very nice and helpful.
Pros: outside seating

Makes everybody happy - Edit
This is the place to go if you want to have dinner with a meat eater because it offers amazing food for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. They have a very good choice of vegan food and their burger together with homemade fries is delicious.
Pros: good food, good value, friendly staff with good English

Saved by Re Fresh. - Edit
Being in Bratislava on a Saturday severely limited what restaurants were open, especially which vegan restaurants. After walking across the entire town to a restaurant that was supposed to be open and finding it closed, I was lucky to pass by Re Fresh and spot their sign that advertised 'Vegans, Vegetarians, and Carnivores eat together!'
I sat outside, which was a lovely little area that was shielded from the sun. The food was good and service was kind. I ordered a stir fry dish with tofu. I also tried their lemonade, which was definitely a good decision. Although I had intended to visit a different restaurant, I am glad that I stopped here.
The menu had a couple vegan things other than the stir fry, as well as some things that could be made vegan. The late night menu also had some vegan options for when the club portion of the place is open.

I just had THE most amazing soup here: Marrocan Red Lentil. The balance of spices, the color, the consistency- all just perfect. Waiting for my vegan burger, and hoping it will not disappoint after this divine experience
