Terrible burger

Ordered the hot dog and it came out as the burger. They didn’t even offer to make it again, just said they’d made the burger so asked was I happy to have it 🤦🏼‍♀️ lots of options on the menu but was really disappointed with the food and the service. Staff did not seem at all interested. Food was also luke warm. Shame but will not be returning!

Cons: Wrong order , Cold food, Disinterested staff

Cold tasteless burgers, incorrect order not replaced!

Really disappointed after seeing a lovely menu with lots of options. Ordered the vegan hot dog and it came out as a different burger. Didn’t offer to replace it but adjust bill. Buns were hard and fries were hard and cold like they’d been reheated. Place was really quiet so no excuse for it really. Staff seemed really disinterested! Wouldn’t recommend!

Cons: Cold food, Incorrect order , Disinterested staff

Cool place!

Vegan soup, beyond meat burger and hotdogs, nice atmosphere and at night the basement becomes a club.

Great find!!

Me and my friend both ate here a few times while in Bratislava. We had burger, soups and the quesadilla, all were lovely! Hot drinks can be vegan friendly as well. Highly recommended ☺️

Yummy

Not a fully vegan menus, but has plenty of options for all times of day. I was hoping to order from the tapas menu, but it was too early. The "baked vegan Tortilla" was a really yummy was. The salad didn't be any dressing, but it was nice to have some fresh produce. Good find in Bratislava.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

A place to come back to

We tried Re Fresh for dinner and came back for breakfast. The choice of vegan dishes is broad and everything we tried was delicious. Special recommendations go to the coffee and hummus wraps. Just thinking of them is mouth watering.
The prices are very fair for such a central place, as rents probably aren't too cheap there.
The staff was so friendly, always a smile on their lips and very forthcoming.
Big thumbs up and we'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

Very lovely

A place with very unique design that has a ton of vegan options. I ate the daily menu (falafels with roasted veggies and a sauce plus beetroot soup). I saw they had vegan banana pancakes for breakfast, some burgers, wraps, tofu dishes and lots of other things. Would recommend.

Pros: lots of vegan options, unique design

Amazing

Loved that I could get a vegan version of traditional Slovak dumplings here with tofu bacon. I also had a hot chocolate. Food here was amazing and loved the decor of the place too.

The Most Surprising Find

Re:fresh was the most surprising find, spotted only by a sign displayed at the front of the restaurant. It’s not 100% vegan, but they offer more options than any other place we visited in Bratislava. Oddly, I didn’t see it on HappyCow, which made it more of a treat to stumble across. They offer a range of foods, from tortillas and banana pancakes, tacos with chilli and mushroom burgers, to traditional Slovak dish halušky, as well as vegan coffees, teas, chai lattes and hot chocolate. Check out their website to see their weekly menus.

Pros: So many options!, Vegan Hot Chocolate and Banana Pancakes , Traditional Slovak Dish, Halusky

Nice vegan food

This place has a lot of vegan options, including the Beyond Meat burger and hot dog, several other vegan burgers and chili tacos, all on a seperate page of the menu and clearly labelled as vegan. We had a traditional Slovac vegan dish that is a kind of pasta (they call it 'dumplings' with vegan bacon that was really good! However, we also had the 'mushroom burger' that was by far the worst vegan dish I've ever had. It was just a wet sticky bun with 2 small tasteless portobello mushrooms and a thick slice of tasteless tofu on top. In addition it had a kimchi salad on the side that tasted really strong and bad with an overwhelming flavour of raw spring onions. However, since the other dish was really good and some dishes other people had looked really good, I would still recommend going here. Nice atmosphere as well

Trendy bistro/nightclub in the old town

Perfect location, cool vibe, nice drinks and cold draught beer. Popular with locals and perfect for vegan tourists - they offer vegan versions of typical slovak dishes. I took there my foreign guests few times and they were always happy with the food and ambiance.

There are about 8 different meals to choose from so plenty of choice!

Nothing special

I went there for breakfast and had the vegan banana pancakes. The flavour was okay but they were dry and chewy. My non-vegan boyfriend had an omelette which he said was good. Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu, but unfortunately nothing special.

Best non vegan place in Bratislava

The vegan burger is always super tasty. This place is little bit pricey for Bratislava but it is located in the heart of the city so it's acceptable😄

My favourite restaurant in Bratislava

The reason I love this place is that I can go there with my meat eating friends and I know that everyone will be able to choose something from their menu.

my most favourite is their breakfast. I had some avocado toast, deep fried bred and also the mayo salad. I have been there for breakfast countless times because I just love it so much. and my meat eating boyfriend is happy to eat there as well.

I also love their robi burgers. I could eat that ish every day.

the staff are also nice and friendly, the place looks nice as well. If I could I would give 5 stars :D

Pros: Nice staff, Delicious food

Cons: Small place, sometimes they don't have a table

Decent

I had the vegan chill tacos without vegan cheese and coriander. Tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary.
With service a little slow and high prices, makes this a place I won't visit again.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Expensive , Slow service

After a long thought I took the vegan burger that was actually one of the best I have ever had! I wish I could try the other dishes. Highly recommended😄

Pros: Big dishes, have also vegan souces for the burger, The stuff completely understand what vegan mean , Great beer

Cons: It is not completely vegan

Perfect for breakfast!

Refresh is located very centrally in Bratislava and offers delicious breakfast options. I chose the homemade granola with different fruits, soy youghurt and corn sirup, It cost around 4-5€, it was a good portion and left me happy and satisfied. My friends ate a spicy breakfast wrap which was also delicious but not such a big portion. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Indoor & outdoor seating :)

Pros: delicious granola, friendly staff, centrally located

Cons: wrap wasn't that big
