Delicious suprise vegan cooked breakfast - Edit
I had an hour to kill on Cowley Road and really fancied a cooked breakfast. There are a few places nearby which do vegan sandwiches/ lunch items but I had a real hankering for hash browns. Refresh advertised a vegetarian full English so I thought I would pop in and ask if they could veganise it for me. So glad I did, absolutely gorgeous decor and really relaxed atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They were happy for me to check labels myself and did me a yummy plate of vegan sausages, fried mushrooms, beans, hash browns, toast plus a cup of tea for less than £5. They were also keen to hear my thought on how to broaden their vegan menu and took a recipe from me for scrambled tofu. I will definitely be returning to see how they have further veganised the menu. Great cafe with a wonderful ethos too (read their website, it's really inspirational stuff).
