Amazing! - Edit
Went for lunch today with 7 friends. The food was amazing, had the buff burger with sweet potato chips and the lime cheesecake. It was heavenly along with the love handles hot chocolate. Very good value and fab staff

Just as I hoped it to be - Edit
So I was looking for a vegan place to eat and I felt like having sushi and risotto. This place happened to have both! My food was served lightning fast and it was downright delicious. They also serve alcoholfree cocktails which are simply amazing (I had the Moscow one, recommended!). If you’re looking for good, whole foods vegan food this is the place. It also has a good atmosphere and it was full when I was here (a Wednesday night) so making a reservation might be useful.

Nice selection - Edit
I came here with a group of friends. They have a good selection of foods and drinks. I had a curry and enjoyed that, but my friends didn’t enjoy their meals as much as I did. I wouldn’t rush back here.

Great vegan & GF dinner and brunch - Edit
Went for dinner. Jackfruit sandwich was great. Kale salad was so-so - croutons were too hard. Pina colada shake was fabulous. Cheesecake was good but not as sweet as I would like.
Read moreWent back for brunch. Buckwheat pancakes were great. Cooked all the way through, not raw in the middle as some GF pancakes can be. Came with a lot of very fresh fruit.
Caramel Crack Shake was too sweet, almost inedible.
Right by Holiday Inn Express. Near Old St. underground stop. Worth visiting if you're in the area!
Pros: Vegan & gluten-free, No added white sugar, By Old St. underground
Cons: Not open late at night, Brunch is weekends only

Bland food, bad service - Edit
The menu is fairly limited. We went on a Saturday and had the buddha bowl and a brunch item. I think a burger would have been a better choice. They should add a main dish that isn’t a burger or salad to the weekend menu. We found the food a bit bland. The service was very frustrating, we were constantly having to go up and get someone just to get any attention at all. Now open on Sundays, but I’m not going to be rushing back even though I live around the corner.

Great concept - service could be improved - Edit
I love the concept of this place. The food is good and the location is great. Nice little spot to come to for dinner when your starving after a hot yoga class.
Read moreCon: I don't know why I always expect vegans (and vegan-run restaurants) to be kind and friendly people but I must say I have been here a couple of times and the service is not the best. It is always bit slow, they often run out of things on the menu. My mum was running late once and they wouldn't keep the kitchen open for a couple minutes and had a attitude about it which was a bit of a let down as they make you feel like you are just a nuisance rather than a paying customer.
That being said the food is nice and I like to support plant-based restaurants. The black rice in the curry was out of this world! Jackfruit burgers are yummy too -they are massive so maybe worth sharing with someone and getting a smaller side to go with it!
Pros: Gluten-free, Refined-sugar free, location
Cons: Poor service, Run out of favourite menu items

Yummy food. Friendly service. - Edit
I popped in to Redemption for a quick lunch between workshops and ordered the sparkling rosemary drink and Rendang jackfruit curry. Both the drink and curry were full of aroma and flavour. Loved it! The restaurant has a nice and cosy atmosphere, and the service from staff seemed genuinely caring. Would definitely recommend them to other vegans and while not low-budget, it certainly wasn’t the priciest I’d lunch options for London!

Nice food, expensive - Edit
We had the corn chips and dips to start which were pretty average. The jackfruit burger for main was great, really tasty. The banoffee pie was also really nice. The mocktails were ok. They don't do Seedlip at this branch yet, just Notting hill which is a shame as my friends said it's really nice. Service was attentive (occasionally a bit too much so). Everything was a bit too expensive for what it was.

Thank Buddha - Edit
Great little cafe serving the cleanest foods. My sister and I came here for lunch, she's gluten free and we're both vegan, it was such a relief to not have to worry about anything on the menu! I had the Buddha bowl and my sister had the soup of the day: cauliflower and carrot, both were delicious. I would definitely recommend!

Finding Redemption in Shoreditch - Edit
Searching for somewhere for a vegan Sunday lunch, we found Redemption. We were told we might have to wait an hour but they managed to make room for us within about five minutes.

I enjoyed the food pretty much, but not my girlfriend who is not vegan. So it should be for everyone's taste. Anyhow it was surprisingly that desserts are made without sugar.

Pulled Pork and Bliss Balls - Edit
Everything that came out of the kitchen here looked amazing! But it was definitely the pulled pork (jackfruit) sandwich that seemed to be the restaurant favourite with almost half the people around me ordering it. I had the sandwich, which was amazing! I also had the bliss balls for dessert, which were also delicious!

Try the "Temple of 10!" - Edit
This was my first time dining at Redemption at this location, and it did not disappoint. I tried the "10 a Day" which was a bowl of, well, 10 servings of vegetables. It was huge, at nearly a kilo of plant-based goodness. The flavors complemented each other very well and were tied together with a nice peanut sauce. There was more on the menu that I wanted to try, but dare I say the 10 a Day was quite enough.

I had a late lunch at Redemption, when it wasn't busy. I had the daily buddha bowl, followed by the acai berry & vanilla cheesecake. Both were delicious and well presented. The service was prompt and friendly. For the quality of the food, I don't think the prices are excessive.
