Moroccan inspired vegan dishes
Moroccan inspired fully vegan breakfast and lunch spot. The menu is quite extensive & impressive so cannot mention everything that they offer here. Everything is made-in-house. Drinks include specialty coffee, fresh juices and orange blossom water. Baked goods including cakes & cookies are available. Offers a plate of the day that contains seasonal ingredients. And so much more. Open Thu-Sun 7:30am-4:00pm.

Lovely vegan cafe - Edit
We ate here three times during our recent visit to Taghazout. We were pleased to find a vegan restaurant. The food was good (although they do run out of some options!) they also have cakes that can be taken away. There are dogs sleeping in the restaurant and they were selling tee shirts to raise money for stray dogs and cats. The staff were lovely.

Great food and vibes! - Edit
Went here a few times while I was in Tagazhout, they have a selection of cakes/pastries as well as some sweet and savoury main dishes.
Read moreI had the BAM toast, cinnamon bun, brownie, classic cookie, and the burrito.
Everything was good but the classic cookie and the burrito were my absolute faves!
The staff are all super nice and the vibe is great. Defo visit if you’re nearby😄

Excellent - Edit
I've been coming here regularly for about ten days. I've tried the almond chai latte, apricot cake, apple pie, oatmeal and raisin cookie, floral lemonade, and hibiscus kombucha. All excellent, with special mention for the chai latte and cookie. I hope one day they make savoury dishes without garlic, which I hate, so I can try the savory ones too. The staff is very kind, welcoming, and discreet, and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Delicious vegan food - Edit
A great community cafe that serves really tasty food which had been lacking a bit in Morocco before we came here. Ate here 3 times and had the burrito, pancakes and the granola bowl. My bf also had the tofshuka and all were full of flavour. Can't recommend this place enough. Slightly higher prices than street food but what do you expect?

Beautiful, tasty find! - Edit
On the last morning of our three day mini-trip to Agadir we had given up hope of finding tasty food, but knew that we wanted to take a trip on our last day to Taghazout to visit Redclay based on the reviews here, and the fact they're the only vegan eaterie around! It's DEFINITELY worth a trip from Agadir for lunch, 100%. The staff are incredible, had a lovely chat with the owner too. This is the only food that we've had that feels like it was cooked with love. This doesn't reflect Moroccan cuisine, it more reflects the veganising of Moroccan cuisine. We found all of the tagine/cousins cous options to be unseasoned ('un', not 'under'!) and bland, we tried several as we really wanted a delicious, authentic Tagine experience and stubbornly pursued it daily, but it didn't happen. This place however was packed with flavour. So recommended, and we will absolutely be back one day. We'll even stay in Taghazout!! We had the Burrito which was delicious, and the burger of the day which was also delicious (almost sloppy-joe-esque, banging with some of the provided green tabasco sauce! Cookie was also great, sadly it was the only baked goods still available as everything else was sold out! We'd have bought one of everything!
Read moreFood was so good, and our hunch thay the airport can't cater for vegans so strong (!), that we ordered a takeaway burrito meal each to eat after check-in ahead of our 9pm flight too. Super cute takwaway packaging (a repurposed empty Oatly carton, GENIUS!) 100% recommended. Faith in Moroccan vegan food and flavours restored!
Pros: Food/flavours, Atmosphere, Staff
Cons: Not one.

Nice spot but limited opening hours - Edit
Only had a coffee and a brownie the first time we stopped, and while I was excited to go eat here, sadly it's not open every day (good for them for taking time off to surf, just make sure you check the opening hours beforehand to avoid disappointment - currently seems to be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). Nice atmosphere and friendly service, though the brownie wasn't the best I ever had.

The only fully vegan restaurant - Edit
So grateful that there’s a fully vegan restaurant here. The opening hours are more reduced than some so only got to visit the once. The menu is fairly small but enough choice. There’s indoor & outdoor seating, staff are friendly and food came quickly. We were given filtered water without requesting it which was nice. We ordered a burrito & tofu shakshuka iced decaf latte & matcha latte. It all tasted good. They had a range of cakes (proper sponge ones) and we got an a slice of almond & raspberry cake to take away.

The best place to eat in Taghazout - Edit
Only ate here once, sadly, but I stopped back for items from their bakery counter every day. I had the burrito which was delicious, and their selection of cakes & drinks was very good for Morocco. The service was remarkably friendly too.

One of the very few 100% Vegan Restaurants - Edit
This is one of the very few 100% vegan restaurants in Morocco actually. I came here for the breakfast and had an almond matcha latte w/o sugar, a GF banana muffin & Shakeshofu (tofu the Moroccan way). Not too bad though it’s on the pricy side for Moroccan food. 🥘

So good to have a fully vegan place in Taghazout it is amazing! We liked the place, like the staff, liked the vibe, the music playlist 🤩 and, most importantly, liked the food! We were there several times, and the food was good. We liked best the breakfast burrito, very good! The coffees are also amazing, very very good! The bun is good but the bread is a bit too hard.
