If you're looking to grab some quick vegan options in Homewood or dine in while soak up some wifi, Redbird Cafe might be your best bet in Homewood/the south suburbs. Several items on both the breakfast and lunch menus are or can be made vegan: the grilled cheese, chili lime carnitas, veggie chili, nonavocado toast (a local vegan favorite) and grain bowls. They carry Follow Your Heart vegan cheese and tofurky chorizo, AND as of summer 2018, they're BYOB!
