Five Stars

I had the Curry Chick Peas, Caribbean Slaw, plantains and the Sweet Potato Bread Pudding for dessert. All Vegan. Everything was a culinary delight! I will return again when I’m back in the area.

Nice Caribbean Spot with Vegan Menu

My first time visiting the Bluffton location while in town and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing. I never had Brown Stew Tofu or Pigeon Peas and it definitely will not be my last. The food was so delicious! I savored every bite. The Plantain was a perfect option for a nice sweet treat to top off the meal. Make sure you stop in to say hi to the owner, Ezron and his son Willie. They made the experience very welcoming.

Awesome.

Separate vegan section on the menu and all vegan sides are marked with a V, so that’s always nice. As is to be expected of any Caribbean place. The flavors and spices here are outrageously good. I loved the way the tofu was prepared. Entree comes with choice of two sides.

Happy

The vegan dishes are delicious. I never thought I would eat Caribbean food again after I chose a vegan diet. Not only is the food excellent but the owner and staff are so welcoming. Love this restaurant

Nothing but Love for Red Stipes

Best food and best vibes in Bluffton. We are here at least twice a week when we lived in the area. They are warm and welcoming. You can feel the love in every bite. The only thing that could ever bring me back for a visit to SC would be a plate of brown stew tofu.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Amazing vegan collard greens, Out standing service & friendly people

Cons: None. Go there!

Jamaican Vegan Food!

Very nice restaurant. Seating inside or outside and takeout. Flavorful dishes, full bar and beer and wine. Excellent service by people who understand Vegan.

Pros: Vegan section of menu offers 6 or 7 choices. , Vegan collards were great.

Cons: Menu descriptions are lacking.

Great food with a friendly and helpful staff

Enjoyed the curry chick peas over rice with collard greens. The woman who helped me was very helpful pointing out which dishes were prepared without oil.

Food was great and staff knowledgeable

I had the brown stew tofu and it was great. I ordered that and without asking the server told me which sides were vegan. Everything but the Mac n cheese and cabbage was vegan. Get the rice if you get the stew. It’s not a soup like I was thinking. More tofu in thick sauce. It was delicious though

Great Great food

I lived in Florida for 27 years and I think I know some good Jamaican food. this restaurant is the best. It has a separate vegan menu. The food was so delicious and perfectly spiced. We had enough to bring home for a second meal ,which is important to me. I ordered a drink called Pain Killer , made with 2 types of Rum. It was very good...the service was great. I will go again. Maybe with my vegan/veggie meetup.

Vegan options!

I wish I could give this place five stars. Lots of vegan entrées and all of the sides are vegan except the mac & cheese. Super friendly staff. I’ll be back at my first opportunity.

love this place

The owner here is so welcoming and friendly! He was so excited to cook me vegan food! Very laid back atmosphere. I got the curry tofu with rice and peas and fried plantains and sorrel ginger tea. Lots of options for meat eaters and vegans. Definitely will come back if I'm ever around there again!

Warm people, hearty meal

I went here with my Omni grandparents and everyone found something they like! The curried tofu, plantains, and collard greens were wonderful. I ate 2 sides of collard greens and ordered another to go! (Just a warning they are very salty)

It was run by kind people, and the chef came out at the end of the meal to speak to the tables.

There is also a small side shop with a few food/drink options and Jamaican apparel.

Pros: Vegan section on the menu, 90% of the sides are vegan, Friendly

Cons: Had to wait a little for the food to come out

Lots of yummy vegan options, and the owner is very accommodating to our veg lifestyle! I went there with one of my vegan meet up groups, and the owner told us to let him know we are coming ahead of time and he will prepare us all something special off menu!(vegan)

Pros: many vegan options, very accommodating , yummy drinks!

Cons: expensive

Great vegan options

loved this place. great food and people. 4 vegan main dishes that each come with 2 sides, many of which are vegan. will definately be coming back. I got the stew peas, plantaines, and collard greens. everything was great.
