I ordered takeaway from Red Sparrow last night and remembered that it is indeed delicious! We ordered 3 pizzas between 5 people which was a healthy amount for us. For variation we chose a tomato based pizza (ortolana), white based (bianco), and pesto based (verde). The ortolana was quite sweet and the tomato sauce left the base quite soggy. My favourite was the verde, with a lovely balance of flavours and textures - it even had little pansies on top! Bianca was delicious too. Can’t go wrong was potato and tangy white cheese on a pizza. Like most vegan pizza places, I find their pizzas with more veggie toppings way more satisfying than the mock meat options.

We had our first pizza at Red Sparrow and it was just amazing. This place definitely must be your go-to for vegan pizza in Melbourne. Delicious, fresh, beautiful pizza range, lovely staff, and good vegan cheese. We'll be back!

I’d heard a lot about Red Sparrow pizzas but wow - my expectations were well exceeded. I shared a mushroom truffle pizza and the puttanesca with the boyfriend and I don’t think I was able to get any words until I’d completely polished off my share! Added a cheeky glass of Delinquente Bullet Dodger red which was superb. Lovely staff, good service, nice atmosphere. I seriously wanted to come again the next night

The pepperoni pizza is my go-to but honestly all their pizzas are great, and despite not being a salad kinda gal honestly their Greek salad with vegan feta is amazing!
They always have some good beers in which is also nice.

I have to tell you, sadly, I am not at all impressed!
The base was maybe a bit better than alright, but the topping was so naff, I can hardly believe it! They had been so sparing/mean with the vegetables & toppings, no need for that, it was pricey enough!😡
Red Sparrow have lost my custom and that of my loved ones, family & friends-and whoever stands still long enough to hear me tell them not to waste their money-$68 down the drain, I am so disappointed 😢😢😢

Pizza: woodfired flavors, tasty toppings, and great varieties
Salads: Fresh and flavorsome with just the right amount of dressing
Drinks: Interesting cocktails to chose from, plus the best beers and wines.
- The spider with optional vodka from the specials menu was amazing.
- Fried Mars bar and Banoffee cheesecake (special) were also outstanding
The service, attentive but non-intrusive. Outdoor seating, so you can bring your dogs.
Reasonably priced for the quality, definitely recommend.

Im vegan 95% of the time and that 5% is pizza. If we had this at our place i would be 100% vegan. Best pizza ive had, vegan or otherwise. Beer and salad is also excellent.

Between four of us we shared 3 pizzas, chips and buffalo wings. Then we all had deep-fried ‘mars bars’. The pizza were all great! My husband and I are both vegan and he prefers not to eat mock meat and Red Sparrow has a lots to offer. I love trying the mock meats and really enjoyed the buffalo wings. Our friends are omnivores and enjoyed every dish we ordered. Great food!

This place is so great. Would go back everytime, the vegan cheese is so real you think they are fooling you. Would recommend it to everyone who is in Melbourne. It is not that cheap but absolutely worth it.

I've eaten here numerous times - the pizzas are great and the vegan cheese they use is the best I've come across on pizzas. I've taken non-vegam friends and they agreed that they couldn't really tell the difference.

Just ate their ‘Mushroom Pizza’... 2 types of mushrooms, caramelized onions, truffle oil, thyme, arugula and vegan Parmesan. SO YUMMY. Can highly recommend! I also got lucky and had their dessert special. It was a baked vegan cheesecake. It was one of the best I’ve ever had!
