Not very good for Vegans - Edit
Not a lot of choice for Vegans and if you eat at lunch time you have to eat in the pub bar not the restaurant and unfortunately the bar is very small

Lovely home cooked vegan meals - Edit
We went to the Red Lion for the first time this evening after coming across it on Happy Cow. I had the (vegan) lasagne and my partner had the (vegan).curry the food was clearly home cooked and really tasty. I loved the lasagne. We sat by the open fire, it was lovely and the staff were also really kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Good home cooked food - Edit
A fair amount of vegan options considering this was a small village pub with a small menu. Couldn’t fault the food. We had the vegan cheese and onion pie which was deliciously rich. The vegan burger was a quinoa patty type burger rather than a typical meat replacement burger. The vegan lasagne was also good. All of the portions were more than generous and the food was reasonably priced.

Everything appeared to be homemade, the onion rings were super tasty best I've ever eaten. I had the vegan burger and chips which was super tasty. My fella had the homemade vegan curry of the day but said it tasted very bland and that he could make better at home, chips were nice. There are other options I will try next time. There were no choices of desserts so pretty disappointing as they went all out with having lots of choice of mains.
