Red Hook is a cute lil breakfast/lunch joint that has a good amount of vegan options. I went there for the first time today & got the vegan curry chicken salad. Portions are large and the ingredients taste incredibly fresh and clean - you definitely get what you pay for. The owners of Red Hook are two fantastic women who truly put love & care into the restaurant.

Was a little skeptical when I was looking at the menu. They don't have a lot of vegan options, but what they do have is very good. I got a plain bagel with tofutti cream cheese. Haven't had a bagel or cream cheese in years. In was excellent! Also got the BLT-A on a foccacia bread.Tempeh bacon was seasoned very nicely and loaded with greens and the Afor avocado. Definitely recommend this place if you want to have options when others with you are not vegan. It's in a cool neighborhood so enjoy!

They have a few vegan options but can make other things vegan. I got the Elvis sandwich but asked for a vegan version of it and it was so good. Their soup of the day was amazing and my boyfriend got the curry chicken salad sandwich he loved it. What really blew me away was that I saw they had “caramel cardamom apple cider” and I always ask if restaurants have dairy free caramel but they NEVER do and when I asked they said that they have a separate caramel just for that!!’ I was blown away and so happy! The drink was delicious. Staff was super friendly. Will definitely go back.

I was very surprised by how delicious the vegan chicken salad sandwich and the vegan BLT were. All the breads were unexpectedly soft and flavorful, the vegan soup of the day (which was the zucchini and cauliflower soup when I visited) was hearty and well-seasoned and served with a side of their amazing bread toasted and vegan-buttered.

Seriously Good Vegan Sandwiches - Edit
This quaint little coffee shop in Queen Village has delicious food and is quite vegan friendly. The sandwiches (vegan chicken salad, vegan BLT, and many others are vegan if you skip the cheese) are really good, some of the best I've had since going vegan, and the vegan potato salad that they serve on the side is amazing. They also have oat milk for coffee, which is always awesome, and vegan butter and cream cheese for bagels. Be prepared to pay cash, they don't accept credit cards. They have a couple of tables outside which is always good on a nice day.

The food is insanely good. I had the potato salad and the BLT and both were to die for. Cash only, but well worth the trip. Only reason I didn’t add 5 stars is because the app won’t let me.

Read moreThis place is great, best wrap I've ever had,they have plenty of vegan options (tempeh seasons to perfection). Potato salad was so interesting and was vegan as well, came with the wrap.
Roomy spot with easy seating options, not too big, very casual spot.
