Went here because they have vegan options on the menu. When we asked out waitress for vegan starters or bread she seemed very confused and told us they’re all ‘regular’ and can’t be made ‘premium’. In the end we went for pakora which indeed came with yoghurt dip, but I don’t see how they couldn’t have left that out…
All vegan mains come at a 2 to 3 euro premium, but here I also fail to see why because they add nothing extra. I really got the feeling their definition of vegan is not the same as mine and maybe they mean it’s organic? I didn’t want to press the issue but now I feel I should have.
Food was OK, we asked for spicy and it definitely was, which was nice. The place itself is not very cosy, and it’s also like a clubhouse for retired Brits😄
Good, not great Indian food.
We started with veggie Samosas and upon asking we’re able to change the dip to a vegan mango chutney for free. Good starter!
For the mains: all veggie dishes can be made vegan upon request (instead of 8€ it’ll be 10€). We’ve had a Chana Masala and Aloo Gobi. Both tasted good, not great and if you want it actually spicey, you definitely need to ask for it.
Important: there was no option for a vegan Naan! Not sure where that information came from.
