The food was amazing and the service excellent!

The waiter offered to ask the chef about vegan options and came back with a few suggestions. Our meals were delicious. The setting is also very nice, we sat on the lovely front porch .

Difficult

I went here with a couple friends and we had a very difficult time getting our waiter to offer substitutions. The menu offered artichokes, Brussels sprouts and summer greens. I believe we needed substitutions in all of the dishes and the waiter seemed annoyed to help us out. I wouldn’t recommend this place for vegans but it’s ok for a vegetarian although options are very limited.

Pros: Good flavor

Cons: Very few options , Unfamiliar staff , Expensive

One Real Vegan Option

Call ahead to make sure they have the Buddah Bowl available as last time we went, they did not. They did make us something but it was sub par and it happened only after I begged them to do a different version of the bowl. The bowl is also very oil heavy. Their salads are not necessarily vegan as is, so you'll have to ask your server how to make it work. Not sure why this place is on here, honestly.

Vegan Options

Red Door is the perfect date night restaurant for anyone who A) enjoys vegan eats or B) is dating someone who is not a vegan. My husband (not veg) and I were both able to order a 3 course meal consisting of an appetizer, salad & entree and I didn’t even have to ask for substitutes. He got what he wanted and I ate a 3 course vegan meal. Seriously love this joint.

Pros: Does have vegan options, Clearly marked, Fine dining

Cons: None
