Good quality buffet

We enjoyed our visit to Rebio, it’s a good alternative to other restaurants/eateries in Brno, it’s based on a self service buffet system. They weigh the dishes so you pay for what you chose. There were enough choices on offer for the average vegan, though we thought there could be more clarity concerning labelling so you didn’t have to ask. Otherwise a good option to try out, a little cheaper too than the norm.

Pros: Food quality , Food choices , Self service

Cons: Could have clearer vegan labelling

Good option for quick healthy lunch

Rebio is just classic. Probably the first veg restaurant in Brno.
I like to go there between meetings for lunch. They accept meal vouchers.
Good coffee is just bonus.

Pros: Location, Price, Variety

Cons: Staff sometimes

Primarily vegetarian

Tasty options. You grab a plate and fill it with the food you like, go to counter to get it weighed and then pay.
Surroundings are quiet, despite being located in a mall.
Place might look closed when looking up from the ground floor, so I would advice to venture up and have a look. :-)

Pros: Quiet surroundings

Cons: All signs are in Czech, A little expensive, No toilet inside the restaurant

Quick and easy

Food was fine and there were lots of protein options. None of the staff speaks English so you‘re on your own if something isn‘t recognizable. There were vegan signs marking various dishes.

Variety of Food, Staff speak limited English

Just having my late lunch - food is good but not as good as Prague and also more expensive. Staff doesn't speak much English. Labels in English will be a great idea spicy sauces and pickles.

Pros: Variety, Location in the mall, Large sitting space

Cons: No English labels, Few vegan options

self-service veg-bistro

A modern organic self service bistro with a wide variety of vegetarian dishes but unfortunately not that many vegan ones. It’s a pitty that easily veganizable dishes like potato mash remain vegetarian. So for vegans, the offer is quite limited at the end.

Pros: self-service, organic ingrediences

Cons: some easily veganizable meals remain vegetarian (p

Quick and healthy

This modern vegetarian/vegan restaurant offers self-serve system which is great because you can try many things within one meal and find out if you like it or not for your next visit. Healthy meals, lots of salads and also some little sweet treats for desserts! They have everything you need :) I like the comofortable interieur and fast line so you don't have to wait for too long in the rush hours to get your lunch. Nice staff is always there. I would like to welcome more vegan options (especially with the desserts) and broader variety of offered foods because when you visit this restaurant too often, good thing is that you know what they have, but on the other hand you might get little bored. Non-smoking, fast and nice place to eat in Brno!

Pros: Quick and healthy, Non-smoking, Opening hours

Cons: Small amount of vegan meals

Good food, good variety

Velky Spalicek has more options of vegan food than Orli, you can practicly even choose between some meals which is common not often. The great thing about Rebio is variety of salads - anyone who knows Czech cuisine can say that you quickly miss fresh vegetables. Salads kick ass :-) There is always soup, main dishes, desserts unfortunately only vegetarian, not even one of 20-30 vegan. It's the only veg*an place in Brno open on Sunday after 17.

Pros: opening hours, salads, quite big variety of food

Cons: non-vegan desserts, not sure whats vegan - bad marking

Great for vegetarians

A great restaurant -not only- for vegetarians within the Velký Špalíček shopping center (on the first floor). Friendly atmosphere, modern wooden interior with lots of light, a children's corner, free WiFi and airco. Wheelchair accessible. The restaurant is quite big (102 seats), but can be busy during "rush hour". A lot of non-vegetarians come here for the good and healthy food. Friendly and helpful staff. You fill your plate with all the good stuff you want and pay by weight. Pretty much ovo-lacto, not too many vegan options. Has a beer bar with various sorts of organic beer.

Pros: good food, healthy cuisine, friendly staff

Cons: missing more vegan options
