Something for everyone - Edit
This lovely, eclectic restaurant is right in Mahone Bay, with a beautiful patio overlooking the water. They do serve meat, but the menu carefully notes which options are or can be made vegan (as well as gluten-free options), and the waitstaff is helpful and well-educated. There is a lovely vegan Cesar salad and a vegetable sandwich with a tasty cashew spread at lunch, along with more typical options like falafel and bean salad. We didn't go for dinner, but there were other tasty things on the dinner menu. The desert menu included a vegan and gluten-free chocolate-avocado mouse, though I think the deserts change regularly. All in all a great option for veg-friendly food in a beautiful little town, well worth the stop for travelers.
