Great little cafe with kombucha on tap - Edit
This is a fun little cafe with a separate vegan menu, lots of options for sandwiches, burgers, salads, snacks, and daily vegan food specials. The tempeh Reuben was delicious! They also have kombucha on tap, with two flavors of the day available in refillable glass jars and growlers. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating but if you take it to go all their packaging is eco-friendly and biodegradable. In addition to the cafe, there is a very small grocery store with a few vegan staples such as the Beyond Burger, as well as beer and wine. The staff is super friendly and it’s a warm and inviting place.

Real, Raw, and Organic - Edit
1st time here. Walked from our hotel. Small spot. One small table inside and several tables outside. Menu has a variety of foods to try. I had a sunshine with tempeh sandwich. Comes with chips. Not your normal sandwich. Healthy and tasty. Mini market with a variety of food to purchase. I’m not sure you can find healthier than this spot. It also comes at a price but no one said eating healthy is cheap. I would come back again.

My husband and I found this place while craving smoothies one morning and ended up returning during our vacation for smoothies. We also tried their breakfast toasts which were good but the portion was smaller than I expected (1 piece of Ezekiel bread). They had lots tasty looking vegan options on the menu but I didn’t have a chance to. They also have a small selection of pre packed vegan foods in case you’re in a pinch. Only downside is the prices are a bit high, but it’s worth it for vegan options at the beach.

Welcome healthy options, but pricey - Edit
We had the Reuben and Hummus vegetable sandwiches. They were good, but $30 for 2 sandwiches is kind of crazy. The store is adorable though and it’s good to see vegan options. Walkable from the convention center, where the food options are dreadful. So we were happy to get a healthy lunch.

It was a relatively warm day when we stopped in, and right inside the door there was a little chest freezer with vegan ice cream cones. There were also some crunchy snacks and pantry items next to the kombucha fridge. And the variety of flavors! We took a blueberry ginger and a mint mojito for later, but we tried the pineapple jalapeño on tap and it was excellent. There's a great vibe in there -- we were talking and joking with the staff and other customers. It's a very warm fuzzy place. The outdoor seating area is super cozy and inviting, too.

Best Vegan Food in OC - Edit
I spend a lot of time in OC and Real Raw has the best vegan food. The hummus and veggie sandwich is my favorite, and my spouse loves the bangin tempeh tacos. All of the food I've tried has been awesome. Most of the food offered is vegan, and I never have to worry about my food coming into contact with animal remains. They also have a number of speciality grocery items that are fun to try.

Good amount of vegan options! also some vegetarian items that could be customized. we tried two types of tempeh tacos - highly recommend the Bangin tempeh taco! we also had the vegan crab cake sandwich which was delicious! We will def be back for every OC trip

Predominantly veggie and vegan options - great variety. From bowls to smoothies to sandwiches and plenty of flavors of kombucha made by Real Raw Organics - it's a great place for vegetarians and vegans. The setup is adorable, the staff is friendly. And there are additional grocery options - teas, frozen vegan foods, nuts/seeds, soaps and household products. Super cute. Can get very expensive, very quickly but that's the only "con".

I visited for the first time yesterday (stoked that they're open in the off-season), and was immediately charmed. The decor conveys a comfortable, bohemian, and nature-inspired atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also offer a sizable and diverse array of non-food items; such as home, health, and beauty products. Even better, most are locally sourced!

I ordered an acai bowl, as well as the "crab" cake sandwich, with quinoa chips. The crab cake is made primarily of mashed chickpeas, hearts of palm, and nori; and absolutely huge. Perhaps too huge-- while hot and tasty, the consistency was a bit mushy; I felt that the cake perhaps needed to be a bit flatter (to allow more thorough internal cooking), cooked longer, or both. It also could've used a bit more flavoring (Old Bay?). The sauce that garnished it was *amazing*. Ultimately, there's tons of great potential there; just needs a bit of tweaking.
All in all, this is a really great little spot, and I'm so thankful to have it right in the heart of OC! Definitely recommend. Looking forward to my next visit.

I have been here about 3 times, and I always get the tempeh reuben because it is SO good! Especially of you like sauerkraut as much as I do (they pile it on!!!) But they do have other vegan options that look equally as yummy!

They have multiple vegan options and are pretty tasty. Sandwiches are pilled high with veggies. Discount if you bring back a kombucha jar. A bit pricey though and the food takes a long time to come out.
