Ray's Cafe
Serves meat, vegan options available. Daytime restaurant in 2016 added a vegan menu with around 10 items, which includes a flax seed coated sourdough french toast, black maple, coconut yoghurt, beetroot vinegar & halva; a faux chicken burger with kimchi, slaw, tomato, beer battered chips & pickled aioli. There are also a few options in the cabinet and a vegan salad on rotation. Open Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm, Sat-Sun 8:30am-4:00pm.

PENG - Edit
This place had a really cool interior, good music, nice outdoor seating, a separate vegan menu and really interesting, delicious food - would give it 5 stars if I could

Now featuring a full vegan menu - Edit
And the vegan menu's really good, too. (I'd argue better than the non-vegan menu.) Ray's has always done some great, creative food and it's good to see things haven't changed.
The fries are great, and even greater with the miso cheese and Vegemite gravy on top. Any of the dishes with the mushroom and black lentil kofta are a safe bet. The staff are friendly and there are some good smoothies available.
Pros: Comprehensive vegan menu, Creative food
Cons: Loud music, even at quiet times
