The one vegan option found in a food market with so little else. - Edit
We were visiting the Klong Lad Mayom Floating Market (well worth it), An enormous market, with lots of food but virtually nothing healthy for vegetarians or vegans. However, we noticed a sign on the way in for a vegetarian option opposite.
Read moreWe tried it. It was difficult to tell whether it was open or closing but I had a veggie Pad Thai. The meal and the place is basic, but serves the traditionally Thai was ... banana leaf, sugar, lime, chilli flakes on the side. However, the fruit juice I had was amazing.
I spoke to one of the owners. It is new and they are just trying to establish the place. They seem to be trying to create an organic garden. Not the best meal you will have but it is well worth supporting if you are in the area.
Pros: An option in an oasis of meat and fish eating, Fruit juices especially nice, Nice gardens
Cons: Limited choice, Basic food, Not too many visitors .. will it survive?
