CLOSED: Rawthentic Eatery

We popped in driving through Qualicum Beach. Though we are not raw foodist, my parents are so whenever we see a restaurant are curious to try it. Must say that was by far the best raw gourmet food we've ever tried. The delicious wrap was soft (not a fan of the dry crackers often used for raw savory meals) and yummy, full of mouthwatering sauces with the salad. The apple pie with nut cream was just out of this world. Try this place even if you are not raw. The kind owner lady was slow preparing the food and talked for a long time, but the nosh was so worth the wait!!!

They have great smoothies made with almond milk and agave. The summer bliss smoothie was really good. Their kale salad is really good too, the dressing is great and the kale is nice and young and sweet. The pizza is raw, so maybe if you like raw pizza it would be good. I prefer my pizza with cooked white flour dough and daiya cheese, so I didn't enjoy it. It's a great healthy option for anyone passing through Qualicum as there are no other vegan option there, apart from a veggie burger at Lefty's.

Yes to this place. Eaten here a number of times. Wraps, excellent and hearty. Raw pizza, excellent. Kale salad I love and my hubby loves the Caesar salad. Smoothies yum. And great desserts.Lovely inside, comfortable,clean and pretty. Really recommend stopping by and trying their food. Important to support healthy places like this!
