Ok - Edit
I took the Hot Spaghetti, it was good and spicy. The Nanaimo Bar and the Raspberry Cheesecake was good, like okay. My partner took a Creamy Dill Beet Burger. We didn't expect the place to be "so-many-things-free" so we were a bit disapointed. But for raw food it was good.

I'd give a 10 if I could! - Edit
Soooo yummie! So many delicious looking options it was hard to decide what to order! The Creamy Dill Beet Burger was incredible. Comes wrapped in lettuce with a small side of dehydrated Kale chips and was the perfect amount of food, with saving the chips for a snack later.

Rawsome restaurant in Courtney! - Edit
I really enjoyed this food! The menu is vast with lots of options! There is also a small shop full of raw local goodies! It was very dense and high nutrient! Healthy options & feel good food!

Filling and tasty - Edit
I had some long flights back east that afternoon, so I asked for something that would fill me up for a while. I was recommended the Warrior wrap and decided to get the combo with the Mexi Avocado soup. The wrap needed a lot of chewing due to all the veggies so I felt a little like I was eating "rabbit food," however the overall experience was quite enjoyable and I was impressed with how fresh it all tasted. When I finished the wrap I then went to try the soup, which didn't look particularly appetizing. Fortunately I turned out to be wrong in my judgement; I loved the flavour and texture and would have licked the bowl clean if I was eating at home.

Saanich location:
Read moreRaw vegan café (except cooked rice in some dishes). I had the Glory Bowl ($9.49), a large bowl brimming with green salad on a bed of rice, with red pepper, grated beet and carrot, sesame seeds and a tasty dressing. I took away a Classic Wrap, which provided two lunches later.
Adding, for the Courtenay location, winter 2020-21:
I’ve had several bowl meals, wraps and a smoothie + wrap deal. I've enjoyed the walnut-sausage bowl and “comfort” bowl, both tasty and satisfying, with rice and greens as the base. I love the delicious, thick, horseradish or cauliflower soup that they put on some of the warm bowl meals. One day was a chick’n pesto wrap (Caesar lettuce greens) + mango-lime-ginger zinger (smoothie) special deal for $18 - filling and good.
There's a Breakfast Bar, $5, filled with seeds, cashews, goji berries, raisins and drizzled with chocolate - rather hard but no doubt nutritious. The mini apple tarts are really good.
I noticed that they sell Fatso peanut butter and some other food items and books.

Great place, definitely worth a visit! - Edit
Very nice place - pleasant interior, friendly staff and very tasty food. We had the Glowing Goddess smoothie (very good), Santa Fe wrap with chipotle kale chips (both delicious), Buffalo Bill burger (very tasty) and an array of amazing sweets (try the Raspberry Cheesecake and the Vanilla Nanaimo Bar!). The only slight "miss" was the Mint Matcha Latte - a bit too sweet and not very matcha tasting. Overall we were extremely happy to find this place in Courtney.

Wonderful Restaurant! - Edit
I highly recommend this establishment. The food is wonderful! At times they have a 7 day cleanse program which is a incredible way to kick start your health. Staff and customers adore the owner Bill who has a great attitude. There treats are also incredible and of course there is no need to feel bad about raw treats! They have sold my book Best Vegan Recipes from Top Restaurants for years and its always been nice to be supported by such a lovely group of people.

cute little bistro - Edit
Had a wrap, soup, dessert square, and a hot drink. Wasn't a very busy time of day so I got my food fast! Lots of options and I really loved my wrap which was the avacado sandwich wrap. So delicious. Everything was good, but the wrap was my favourite. Will come again for sure! :)

Imaginative options but not for those in a rush - Edit
This is a regular haunt of mine and I can understand why some passing visitors might feel aggrieved at the service. There seem to be ebbs and flows of business throughout the day and those working there do not seem to get flustered or pick up their pace when it is busy, so you can definitely be left waiting if you arrive at the wrong time. However, recently they have introduced pre-made food options to cater for those in more of a rush and the food is worth the wait if you are able to take the time to relax and enjoy the food when it is ready. Not all the raw food is to my taste but I commend them for their imaginative menu and I really enjoy many of the options. I always feel energized after a pit stop here.

A small vegan and raw food eatery. Salads are excellent and everything I have tasted is very good.Haven't a taste for raw and am not in a position to rate that. daily specials are good.
