Worth a visit for the staff - Edit
The staff were so friendly and what made the experience memorable for me. The food was tasty and there was a nice selection to choose from on the menu however it was nothing life changing. If in the area, please support these lovely people but the portions are a little on the small side for the price.

Food amazing, but "japanease" portions - Edit
It is located in a centric area and also easy to find. The staff is really kind. Food is fresh and prepared on the spot. Unfortunately, it is often not open during dinner time. The restaurant itself is cosy and homely. The prices were also okey. The ramen and the cakes were amazing!

All vegan and all amazing! Food made with love and care, great fresh and raw options. A haven of health and veganism in the mostly meat and rice filled area of Osaka. Peaceful and calming atmosphere and raw slices to die for 😮 wow

Best food ever! - Edit
We found this restaurant when looking for somewhere with vegan and gluten free options. We ate here twice during our visit to Osaka! It was fabulous. The menu was easy to read, as it was in both English and Japanese. The waitresses/owners were very nice and spoke English well and were able to answer some questions we had. One member of our family is not vegan and very much enjoyed his meal! Definitely worth eating at!

It was a little pricey. When you think about it, raw, vegan, organic food is going to be expensive anywhere. I had the tacos and the raspberry/strawberry parfait. They were both really delicious. Even though it's expensive, it's totally worth a try. Loved it!

So hard to choose! The food selection is amazing! - Edit
Raw8 cafe is a beautiful little boutique/ restaurant with Raw food! The menu has a big selection, the tacos were very delicious, the ramen soup was the best!!! We also had a vege-raw-burger which wasn’t our favorite one but was still good tasting. The Chlorella latte and the desert were amazing! Great experience at this place!

A Special Treat - Edit
I absolutely loved this cafe/restaurant on a side street in Nakatsu. Everything on the menu looked good so it was a tough decision, but I went with the samosa plate and it was really good!
Read moreI couldn't resist ordering a piece of dessert too.
The restaurant atmosphere was really relaxing too, sunny with lots of plants and natural decorations. They also had a great collection of books and magazines on healthy eating and food, plus an assortment of health foods for sale.
Someone stated that this restaurant was expensive, but I felt like it was worth every yen. You pay for what you get.
Pros: Great food, Healthy

So cute! - Edit
Raw8 was on the same street as where we were staying which was such good luck. We ordered the raw tacos and were so impressed with the flavours, delicious! I recommend coming here for a light meal as the portions are quite small. All in all the staff were very sweet and it had such a lovely atmosphere, would definitely come back again (maybe just a little less hungry next time!)

Delicious, friendly, and open for late lunch - Edit
The impetus for my special trip to Raw8 was the fact that I arrived in Osaka (hungry) after 2pm when most of the veg*n places had already closed (or stopped taking orders) for the afternoon. Fortunately, Raw8 stays open through that late afternoon siesta period so I was pleased to be able to find a healthy meal.
Read moreTo say I wasn't disappointed would be an understatement, as both the food and the service were excellent. Having just come in from the freezing cold, I opted for one of their cooked dishes (they do have a few, in addition to the mostly-raw menu), the okonomiyaki (Japanese "pancake") and a matcha soy latte. Both of these were very tasty and helped warm me up. I finished off with a vegan cheesecake that was one of the better specimens I've had anywhere.
It wasn't only the food and drink that were warm, though: The service was also kind and friendly, making the whole experience delightful.
Highly recommended!
Enjoy!

So Tasty, and pretty healthy too, unless you over eat... like I did - Edit
Really cute place that was peaceful and easy to find. I liked it so much I went back twice. I shared the raw Tacos, the amazing waffle, choc banana smoothie, soy ice cream sundae, cooked curry and rice and the samosas. So great and worth visiting at least once.

Healthy lunch - Edit
Went here on a hot summer's day and had a very refreshing lunch. Good number of options on the menu for a raw cafe. Had the samosa, which had lovely distinct flavours. For dessert, the cake I had was excellent and packed with interesting flavours. Everything was tasty and well presented, but I just wish they gave us a little more for the price.

Relaxed setting with a reasonable menu. My frequent and I enjoyed the vegan samosas which were more like wraps but very tasty all the same. Short on time so had to forego desert but we will be back!

Lovely Atmosphere - Don't Come Too Hungry - Edit
My husband and I went here for lunch this week and tried quite a large variety of the menu, including the raw quesadillas, raw burger sandwich, raw pasta, cooked curry, kombucha, and raw berry tart. I was expecting the portions to be small and expensive, but I was actually slightly disappointed with the food itself. The flavours were really salty and heavy on tahini, as well as what seemed like olive oil (or another oil?) and tamari or some kind of aminos. All those things are fine except they were so heavy that I felt they leant almost an unhealthy imbalance to the food.
Read moreOn the other hand, we were really impressed with the cakes and also enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere inside. They were happy to let us charge our phones, and one of the staff kindly pointed out an outlet I could use if I wanted to go back and do some computer work. I'd certainly visit about, but would go for a snack and a drink instead of a meal.
Pros: Nice atmosphere, Fully vegan
Cons: Expensive, Salty, Oily

Raw in Osaka - Edit
Was really happy to find this little cafe. It was quite busy at noon on a Monday, but I managed to get a seat at the counter. I opted for the raw samosas. Had some of their in house made kombucha which was perfect,... not too sweet and nicely flavored. The samasa were yummy, I'd order them again. For dessert I had a raw berry pie which was out of this world great. I also tried their vegan soy soft serve, delicious.
Read morePrices were what you'd expect for raw food and in general for Osaka. My total was 2200. The ladies working there were nice and spoke some English.

Lovely - Edit
I came here for lunch and got the raw food plate with the smoothie. After that, I got the raw food strawberry cake, and enjoyed it so much I got the vege cheese cake. All delicious. Sat comfortably for ages and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The staff were friendly and even though there was no English menu, one of the staff spoke English well and translated the menu for me. Hope I can come back to try the other stuff on the menu!

Raw Oasis In Osaka - Edit
I had the pleasure of chancing upon Raw8 Cafe today. The cafe is only open for dining on a Tuesday, and I was lucky enough to be in town on a Tuesday.
Read moreThe owner, a passionate raw Foodest has obviously taken great effort to collect Raw Food ideas from around the world, and present them through this delightful restaurant to Osaka. Menu is a set menu for the day.(although there are al la carte items to be had if so desired)
My lunch was tasty, fulling and the conversation stimulating. Finding an oasis in Osaka where one can have a true Raw Healthy Meal is a rare. Salads was delicious as was the green smoothie and the Raw Dessert.
Pros: Raw Healthy Cuisine, Zero Addatives, Homely Ambience
Cons: Only open on a Tuesday.
