Raw Energy - Cotton Tree

For vegan eaters there is hardly any options :( I worked here a few years back and are disappointed that they are not leading the way for vegan eating or have not mixed up the menu.

Basically your options are,

- Petite Raw salad (comes with a vinaigrette dressing)
- Tofu roll up/ Mexi roll up - you must specify vegan (no cheese/mayo -dressing)
- Avo on toast
- Fruit Salad /Muesli with fruit salad (without yogurt and dairy free milk)
- Choose a pattie and add a side salad (with the vinaigrette)
- Check in the cabinet for treats or salad of the day
- Check what soups they have

There are a couple smoothies such as RawNRG or Soya Surprise - though the rest need to be altered.

I find the Raw Energy cafe chains extremely disappointing;
they don't have any raw food, I couldn't see any vegan items on the menu (in fact when I asked the staff member I spoke to wasn't sure what vegan meant) and the coffee either was burnt or not very nice. I have gone to Raw Energy 3 times and I won't go back again!

I don't think the Raw Energy chain should even be listed on Happy Cow. They are no different to any other run of the mill cafe.

Although the name says Raw, there are only a few non-cook items in their menu including Juices & smoothies. Great juices combos!
