Lots of vegan options

Really good for vegan options, I just thought that some of what I got was not very flavoursome - but open to trying it again 😊

Spicy dal

Off the beaten track but worth the effort.
Pre-gig dal with a starter and garlic naan. Nice staff who gave recommendations and they were good choices.!

Pros: Food, Vegan menu, Staff

Some of the best vegan Indian in Glasgow

RRI is a great Indian restaurant and takeaway that is very vegan friendly and has a separate vegan menu. Staff are also very open to adapting non vegan dishes to being vegan, if possible.

There are a range of starters available, including pakoras, momos, and mini dosas. Lots of vegan curries, available in smaller tapas or full portions. I love their smoked aubergine curry. Their rice is a particular favourite, with little crispy lentils in (delicious!).

A definite recommend if you're after curry in Glasgow.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Mid range curry, Friendly staff

Tasty, very vegan-friendly Indian

Oriented towards small plates, they have an extensive, clearly-marked vegan menu. Our table tried seven or eight vegan dishes, all of which were excellent. The proprietor was also very friendly and helpful and the service and atmosphere were spot-on for a causal dinner in a comfortable setting. They seem to do a brisk business in take-away, so they are worth considering for that too. All around, a great option if you are in Glasgow.

Pros: A wide vegan selection, Good flavors, Good value

Cons: Narrow drinks menu (but, hey, it's not a pub)

Best Indian near by for vegans

Absolutely love the vegan options at Raunak. I’ve been to many many Indians in Glasgow and tried many vegan curries and sides. Though some have been excellent (I’m looking at you Swadish), they are often quite up market and not really your bog standard classic curry. This is where Raunak excels. Just what you’re looking for in a curry. The tapas option is also a great way to sample and share.

Favourite dish - Tofu Masala (wouldn’t normally be my choice but man is it good)

Pros: Vegan menu , Independent business with lovely helpful staff , Not too fancy or expensive

Cons: Could have more options of meat substitutes
