Tasty - Edit
Every dish has been amazing. Mango lassi was a little small. I order from here frequently. So far, my favorite Indian restaurant in Rhode Island.

Possibly Not vegan - Edit
They may just say naan is vegan to sell products. If vegan, I suggest specifically saying you are lactose intolerant and you can't have any at all. I asked if there was vegan naan, unlike others reviews the older waiter told me they all had milk. In his words, it's just a little bit of milk, as if it did not matter. To show how they may be lying, the hand rolled edamame dumplings are the usual factory made frozen dumplings at most asian restaurants. Not hand made like they claim. I had jackfruit masala, it tasted great. Later I felt a very unpleasant stomach feeling. I never have issues with real vegan indian food. This makes me wonder if there was ghee in it. Clarified butter. The dumplings are deep fried like the cauliflower, I'm not sure if they share a fryer with fish and meat.

Great food and drinks! - Edit
This is our go-to restaurant for great food! Their vegan thali is amazing. The bartenders are amazing and extremely creative with their drinks. This is the first restaurant I went to when I decided to be vegan and my waiter, also a vegan, pointed me in the right direction! Enjoy this gem!

Small, but Yummy - Edit
I just went to Rasa for a family dinner, and I very much enjoyed it. The vegan options are all clearly labeled with a V, and there is a wide variety to choose from. My entrée, as well as my peach ice tea and naan (without the ghee), were very tasty. My only criticisms are that both the food portions, as well as the restaurant itself, are a bit smaller than expected.

Cons: Slightly claustrophobic, Smaller portion sizes than expected

Great Restaurant - very vegan friendly - Edit
We get take-out from Rasa at least once a month, and we love it. The quality is excellent, and the staff is great. The owner also owns Rasoi (Pawtucket - also great) and Kabob and Curry (East Side of Providence near Brown). We always get Cauliflower 65 (definitely vegan, even though menu doesn't indicate this). Also saag tofu and chana are excellent. You have to ask which bread is vegan. Some of the staff are not always aware of what is vegan, but the manager is always very helpful if needed. Lately they have a vegan employee who is super helpful! This month they have vegan kofta, but I haven't tried it yet. The restaurant is small so limited seating on Friday and Saturday night.
