Great experience

This is one of many Gedaras in polonnaruwa, which all work after the same principle: a Sri Lankan home cooked lunch buffet. Except one meat and one fish dish, all dishes are vegan and it was a great experience to try all these different vegetables, that you find at markets but hardly get in any Restaurant. The seating Area was really nice, the people were very friendly and the food was devine. After many days of rice and dhal, it was so good to get enough veggies for once. You can also get dinner buffet there. But to make sure they're open it is best to call ahead.

Pros: Many vegan dishes, Plenty vegetables, Delicious and homecooked

Cons: Not so easy to find
