A gem! - Edit
Such an unexpected, lovely delight after/before a strenuous hike. I was surprised that such a remote place has decent vegan options - sausages, cheese, even ice-cream. Quick service too. It gets surprisingly crowded, so you might want to book a table in advance (many people do), but there is plenty of seating outside on the platform (not that pleasant in dreich weather, naturally!). Please wait to be seated, I did not notice the sign and just picked a table myself and the lady was visibly irritated. Only on my way out I noticed what I did wrong. Hopefully the tip fixed it!

Lovely tea room! - Edit
A fantastic tea room with LOTS of vegan options. We went for a vegan sausage sandwich and vegan cheese and onion toastie, although there were a few other choices too. Oat milk was available and dogs also welcome - very impressed!!
