Best option in Phrae - Edit
Large mostly vegan buffet restaurant that also cooks noodles to order. You can also buy fried tofu, fake pork and other items!
Read moreI was in Phrae for 9 days and this places was good every time.
A good selection of dishes that change everyday. The young Lady serving was super sweet and very friendly. A welcoming place.
Do note it closes at 4pm and is closed Sundays. The restaurant also has a different name on Google maps.

Awesome veg restaurant - Edit
Buffet-style restaurant in town, just choose your items with rice and pay the price. A lot of options and all are delicious. The environment is friendly and welcoming, with a lot of seating. You can buy mock meats, soya, and other vegetarian products in store. They even have a friendly cat on site. Definitely a place to visit if you're in town.

Good, Friendly, typical Thai vegan place - Edit
Nice big place, plenty of dishes to choose from. Also cooks dishes such as pad Thai upon request. I don’t think much English is spoken but you can get by by pointing at whatever it is you want. Food was very flavourful!

nasty place - Edit
In jan 2014 i visited this place. After eaten my meal i plugged in my laptop. The landlady went crazy: i had to pay for the electricity! I thought she was kidding. After i payed the bill i found out she charged 30thb for 30 minutes power for laptop!
Read moreWhen i asked an explanation she got bezerk and took a scissor with which she threatened me.
I didn't want to be stabbed for 30 thb so i carefully left the premises.
This was the first time in my life i was threatened like this.
Cons: very greedy, dangerous

Read moreI can believe it happenned since a similar situation also happenned to me in a hostel in Thailand for no sensible reason, although it involved a butcher's knife instead!
Some are greedy for money to the point of proper madness, luckily all Thai people are not like that.
