Yum!

We had to ask for vegan options, but very knowledgeable staff. It wasn't the best Indian food I've had, but it was the best meal I had in Gatlinburg! Online it said they were open until 10pm, but when we went at 9pm it was closed so we ate here the next day. Try to go early if you can!

Vegan options

No marked vegan options but we were able to get DELICIOUS samosas and chana masala. The person working seemed annoyed at my questions.

Set the bar pretty high!

It was my first time trying these Indian dishes and it set the bar pretty high. The husband and wife team were so nice. We actually ordered 1 of every snack on the menu. The flavors and textures were amazing. I wish we had them where I live.

Pros: Lots of vegan options. , Flavor experience. , Great prices.

Cons: Only in Gatlinburg.

A hidden gem

For a super busy Saturday afternoon in Gatlinburg, the owners took some time and walked us through the menu and it was delightful! Lentils, chickpeas and samosas.

Pros: Super flavors, Hot and fresh

Cons: Lack of seating in immediate area

Deserves 5 Stars!

The owner is extremely knowledgeable about Vegan options, when we accidentally picked something vegetarian he was quick to let us know and guided us towards a vegan option. My meal came with bread and he let me know he would need to check if it was vegan. He was so kind and the food, wow it was amazing!! I think it feels expensive because it's a walk up place so you expect it to be "cheaper" however the quality of the food and price is the same as a restaurant, its obvious your money goes into the fresh ingredients. The food is absolutely amazing!

Pros: The owner is extremely knowledgeable and kind

Cons: Absolutely none!

Rice and chana massala

They have samosa veggies ($4 for 2 ) and chana massala (chickpea) or dal lentil. No service, tables outside dirty (we cleaned ours with the owner’s rag) or to go. Easy to find. Overpriced but good taste.

Surprisingly Authentic

Was not expecting to find such authentic Indian flavors in downtown Gatlinburg. Tasty veg options with a good amount of spice.

My wife and I got their Indian food to go and it was very good. Very friendly!

We were surprised by the variety of options here, especially since their main advertised food options are lemonade and funnel cakes. The husband and wife that own it were very friendly and helped me pick just the right options with their Indian food. It was very tasty. My wife is vegan and gluten free and I am a vegetarian. It was so nice to find something in downtown Gatlinburg that worked for both of us.

Pros: Many vegan options. , Options can be made non-vegan with paneer. , Willing to work with you for different options.

Cons: Food is takeout only, but a few tables in front. , Could be hard to see if on the main street.

Yes, there's Indian food in Gatlinburg!

A hidden gem for sure, this little stand has prominent signage for lemonade and funnel cakes, but also serves Indian food. You'd never know that though unless you were local or found out about it on the internet. Its located in the Town Centre Plaza (next to McDonald's) The available Indian dishes are posted on a handwritten menu above the ordering window. The owners are friendly, and actually know what vegan means which isn't always the case in rural Appalachia. It's not a full menu, and there are only a few vegetarian options. When I was there they were offering several Paneer dishes (these have dairy) and Chana Masala (vegan) which is what I got. I got to choose my spice level (mild, medium or hot) and my meal was cooked fresh and served with rice. You can get your meal to go or eat at one of the outside tables next to the stand (no indoor seating). The food was pretty decent and in a town with few vegan options it's worth seeking out.

Pros: Good food, Large portions

Cons: No indoor seating, Limited choices
